We specialize in residential interior painting, decorative finishes, staining, wallpaper removal & installation, color consultations, carpentry and hardwood floor re-​finishing. We also provide exterior painting services, powerwashing and deck staining & preservation.

History

Established in 2003.

DECO Paint & Design, LLC was established in 2003 by owner Mark Fiducia to address the three most important issues facing consumers looking for quality painting services today; high quality workmanship provided by a professional and experienced staff, knowledgeable and creative solutions to customer needs and responsive and courteous customer management.

Mark established the business after having worked 20 years in NYC as a project & client management professional.

Business Owner

Mark has always had a passion for creativity. A focus on art related classes in high school led to a bachelors degree in visual communications.

He spent 10 years in the advertising art industry developing his skills as an illustrator, production artist, studio manager and project/​account manager. The next 10 years of his career were spent helping newly founded dot com businesses grow their company and online presence as a project management professional.

When the dot com bubble burst in 2001, Mark made the decision to redefine his career path and satisfy his entrepreneurial urge. Having always been a home improvement diy’er he was confident in his skills as a painter but knew little about the painting business. He worked with a local painting contractor for the next 2 years learning what does and doesn’t work in building a successful painting business. Mark took that knowledge and launched DECO Paint & Design which has recently celebrated its 10 year anniversary.
