cant believe they are still in business! stupid untrained morons! places they have competion they are toast. places they are alone like my daughters college its like communisium, you take what you get and shut up! and pay up! (very overly exspensive crap) have fios at home all preminum movie channels are in hd comcast 1!!! 6 hbo channels 1 hd ordered a package online they give me something else and double the price and tell me im nuts! no such deal was online even though i am looking at it on my computor while i am talking to them.

In the past, when I did manage to get them on the phone in Union, they were very helpful. These days it is impossible to reach them. Why don’t they list an actual phone number? I have had so much trouble recently with the service, and am so frustrated on not being able to reach them that I have pretty much had it with Comcast. The two stars are for past performance.

COMCAST STRIKES AGAIN…
Here is the scenario:
If you want to have just internet: $ 85.00 /​month — what???
If you want a lower price, you HAVE to sign up for their Internet and Cable (including: HBO, Streaming video, fastest internet service, free cable box and PRICE THE NEVER EXPIRES) — $ 75.00 /​month — Wow! It’s their «every day «price that never expires.
Please tell us, Comcast, how this scenario makes sense to anyone. We were paying $ 67.00 /​month just for Internet. Alas, this «SPECIAL» price expired this month and now, the price is $ 85.00 /​month. Why don’t you make that the «every day price» that never expires.
Why do you feel the need to gouge people for every cent they have and to lure them into your other services?
Comcast, this is why you rate the lowest in customer satisfaction scores across the board and across the country for cable providers.
Raising prices on what customers want and offering services and lower prices on services the customers don’t want. This is a terrific recipe for excellent customer service.
I would rather pay the higher price than be forced to have something I don’t want or need.

I give this company no stars at all. They have made one mistake after another right on from the installation of services to the end. The customer service is very poor with countless hours of wait time and when you think you have the problem taken care of. It shows back up again on the next bill.
I suggest them to no one and am very sorry that I ever used them at all as now I can’t seem to get rid of them. They are repeatedly billing me for equipment not returned, which it was returned back in November when the service was disconnected.
They are now threatening to put me into a credit collection agency for their mistakes!
Stay away from them!

If i could leave negative stars I would. First off the customer service on the phone is horrible but that’s another story. I went here a few weeks ago to drop off a router from my mom (she cancelled comcast and went with another internet provider) and the guy at the front desk (wish I could remember his name/​just know he had a beard) was extremely rude and did not speak in a professional manner. People who work at McDonald’s speak better than him. I’m guessing this means Comcast will just hire anybody. Needless to say I am cancelling my service very soon and going with another provider. This business must not care about customer service what so ever which baffles me.

Union NJ Service Center — No way of contacting them. (973) 736‑7410 is a fax line?! What # to call for hours of the Union, NJ location? Called (888) 501‑1248 does not help either.

This place is the worst… along with everything else that Comcast has to offer. I have been here several times for things like paying a bill, swapping out boxes etc. if you can avoid coming here avoid it. In fact if you have the option of any other service
provider, switch. If I wasn’t for the Monopoly Comcast has in my area I would be gone! good luck trying to air your grievances on the 800 number… if you’re lucky enough to get someone that speaks English it’s unlikely they will be willing or able to help. Yes, I do hate Comcast.

No stars I had put Comcast services for about 10 day canceled under my 30 days tech picked up equipment still after all the notes they tell me on sept 20^th 2014 that my credit would be applied 10 days latter nothing there always in a meeting now I have creditors calling me FIOS was the best choice I took!

I’ve resisted writing this review for a while, as this business is in my neighborhood and employs a number of friends and neighbors. We it not for the unceasing Xfinity junk mail, I might have forgotten to write it at all.
Comcast may very well be the single most inept household vendor I’ve ever encountered. The simple act of answering a phone call after a 20 minute wait isn’t something that they were able to decipher in the two decades where they were our cable service provider. In their defense, their internet service is passable– when working– but extremely expensive in competitive terms. We graduated to Verizon FIOS two years ago, and while not ideal, has Comcast beaten by a mile.
For years, whenever Comcast activated or repaired a new connection in the neighborhood there was a fairly high chance that an existing line would be reconnected to what their contractors acknowledged were «dead» connections in their telephone pole junction box. Compounding this situation is the fact that they failed to properly wire our home from day one (rudimentary «electrician 101» mistakes), which they refused to correct. I repeatedly pointed their technician to the source of the problem, he/​she tested and confirmed my directions to be correct, a half-​hour of general fumbling and calls to the Comcast office followed, yet the problem remained uncorrected. For extended periods, getting both internet and cable TV to work at the same time was simply beyond their capability. Note that I’m discussing over a decade of wasted time and effort– not to mention downtime– dealing with blithering idiots.
During this period, eight instances of service outage were acknowledged by their Customer Service Team to be sufficient for an account credit to be issued. Not once did that credit appear on their billing. As if their general ineptitude weren’t bad enough, lying and fraud appear to be standard practice.
I won’t pretend that Verizon FIOS is paradise, but Comcast sets the bar so low that it certainly seems that way.

The phone number doesn’t work which isn’t surprising. Comcast never has a working local office number. They force you to call the 800 number which gets you nowhere in terms of reaching the local office.
I went here, the line moved very quickly but the payoff was they did not have any routers that day. With no way to call and see when they do, I must gamble and unplug the whole thing and trudge it in there in the hopes that have inventory that day.

I can’t believe how poorly Comcast treats their customers! They not only lie to you when you call and ask a question (if you call 2 or 3 times you will get 2 our 3 stories), but the cheat and STEAL from their customers too.
In August of 2013 they «gave me» a «free» Showtime subscription for 6 months. I never received notification of this and never watched Showtime. Their scam is that if you don’t notice it and call and cancel it after the free period, they just charge you! This is an unfair and unethical business practice-​who can figure out your cable bill?
When you call they will only credit 3 months back. When you get a supervisor they tell you another story that“you must have ordered this service thru your remote??? They will only credit you up to 8 months because basically they tell you you’re an idiot and you should check and understand your bill.
This is a horrible company to deal with. No wonder everyone goes to FIOS when it becomes available in their area. FIOS please come to Long Branch, NJ!

This location is very disorganized.
When I ordered the economy internet, they gave me a faulty modem that died in a few months. So when I went to another Comcast office in Plainfield, they gave me the right one and told me that the faulty modem was very outdated.
And when I upgraded my internet, they once again gave me another faulty modem, which resulted in my internet connection being dropped multiple times. That’s when customer service told me that the modem that they gave me was wrong. So I had to get that replaced in Plainfield as well.
I will never be coming back to this location again.

I usually have to go to this office once a year to swap out a piece of outmoded equipment (i.e, cable box, modem, etc.). The line moves swiftly and that makes the surliness of the staff tolerable when all is said and done.
