History

Established in 1989.

In 1989 Robert Schoenfuss and two partners purchased Old Settler’s from Norb and Beverly Landreman who had successfully operated the family business for 17 years. Since then the business has operated as Old Settler’s Bowling Center to the present day. It is now owned by Robert Schoenfuss & Michael Weiss and offers bowling, volleyball, horseshoes, pool, an indoor golf simulator, and darts for both league and open play.

Through many updates to the building (originally built in 1964) they offer a clean modern, bowling, bar, restaurant and banquet area. Old Settler’s has always offered great food including the areas best homemade pizza, burgers, sandwiches, and breakfasts on the weekends.

Meet the Business Owner

Butch S.

Business Owner

Butch has been involved at Old Settlers since 1979 when he started working as a busboy. Then as a pinchaser and mechanic on the automatic pinsetters for the bowling lanes. Given the opportunity to buy into the business as a partner in 1989, he became an owner, and man of many hats as most small business owners are. Butch enjoys working with customers and making their special events at Old Settler’s a success. Bowling is in his blood, and he plans to be here for a long time, God willing.
