Overcrowded with stuff, a lot of the furniture has already been sold but whoever purchased them did not take it with them. Don’t park in the parking lot next door, it is not part of Salvation Army. You have to find street parking. $ 0.25 for half hour on the street in front of the store. They have a ton of clothes, of which they staple the price tag directly into it. I personally think this place is overpriced for being a thrift store, Good Will had a smaller selection but the prices were much better. Their version of ventilation is having fans on everywhere in the store, not a good place to go during the summer, you’ll be working up a sweat. I went on a Wednesday mid-afternoon and the place had a lot of customers. The person working was yelling at some shopper, saying how he comes in every week and touches everything and never buys a single thing. I had no idea who was an employee and who was a shopper. There is a small office towards the front of the store and there was just two kids hanging out in there.

It had a lot of stuff. Although everything was SOLD. We need to make sure we hit up the places really early. Happy thrifting.

This is what I look for in a thrift store. Tons of random stuff, books, and t shirts. Good selection, not picked over(like everywhere in Hoboken has been) and it’s huge. I got two sweet t shirts(one for Hoboken Scotland Yard –dive bar, and one for Dr. teeth and the electric Mayhem –the muppets band) for $ 2.50 out the door. Awesome.

This is the best thrift store in Hudson county. It’s bigger than nearby places and of course cheaper than all the ones in Manhattan. I almost feel bad writing this because I don’t want others to find out.
