This is the first time I’ve ever given a ¹⁄₅ star. I am not fond of putting a dent in someone’s reputation but I really don’t want people to put their health on the line because of someone’s lack of knowledge.
Anyhow, my wife was having sharp pain in 2 of her teeth only at night whenever she would lay down to sleep. Everyone around us told us it’s a clear symptom of root-​canal except for the dentist. I took her here since it was an emergency and my dentist was all booked.
In her first appointment the dentist suggested deep cleaning. She said it’s either that or your gum is overgrowing in the empty space left by her wisdom teeth extraction. Needless to say the deep cleaning didn’t work and then I took her back. This time around the dentist cut a piece of her gum (which was far away from the source of the pain). My wife kept on telling the dentist that the pain is coming from two of her teeth and it’s like her nerves were being pinched but the dentist ignored her. The gum extraction did not work, the pain did not go away, we had to go through another week of sleepless nights, and the dentist said she’d refer us to a specialist.
I trusted the dentist because of the 5 stars on Unilocal but that didn’t get us anywhere. After all I thought she’s the dentist and she has more knowledge, but how can you seriously ignore clear symptoms of root-​canal? I was angry and my wife experienced 2 weeks of restless nights.
I took my wife to my own dentist after 2 weeks and what do you know, my wife needed root-​canal. She fixed her up the same day.

Have you ever been to a Dental office where you’re always highly greeted, shown much professionalism and treated like a star where you feel no discomfort whatsoever? Well let me suggest this office. They are awesome! !!

OMG! Where do I start?
I have to say, this is one of the nicest, caring dentist/​dentist office I have EVER been to.
So impressed!
The worst part of the appointment was all the new patient paperwork.

My family and I have been coming here for the past 5 years. We’ve moved 30 miles away and now 50 miles away from here and we still come here twice a year to take care of our pearly whites: D :D I’ve been to some shady dentist in Daly City before. They claimed they couldn’t clean my teeth and my husband’s unless we spent all this money on some procedures they say we needed before they will even clean our teeth. Since I’ve found Dr Elsa and her team, they’re the only ones I trust to take care of my teeth and my family’s. They don’t suggest unnecessary things done to your teeth just to get more money from you and your insurance. They always remember you, too so you feel very comfortable. My kids get a toy whenever we go there and a goodie bag of toothbrush, floss and toothpaste. Although the past 3 times we’ve had the kids cleaning, they didn’t have kids’ toothbrush and toothpaste instead they gave them adult ones but no biggie: D Dr Elsa, Front desk: Sheena and I think Angel? Is her name and almost all of her staff are just so sweet, friendly, warm and patient. Their text and reminders every 6 months really work! Thank you! Having a very busy family, every little thing like that helps. Excellent customer service and highly recommended!

Before I was introduced to this awesome place, I never really did like dentists or dentistry. I had poor teeth, and I didn’t properly take care of them. After I figured out I had to get multiple root canals and such, my brother recommended this dentist, and I was NOT disappointed at all. If anything, I was pleasantly surprised at how good this place is at making it as comfortable as possible.
The pains in my mouth are gone, and my teeth are looking better. I’ll continue coming here for sure.

nice people and they WILL really take care of you. Been going here for over a year now and changing dentist never popped up in my thoughts. just be sure to come in on time for your appointment coz they do have a lot of patients.
