We live in the area and wanted something sweet on a warm day. Best chocolate chip ever!

So so happy that customers can purchase gift cards! Just purchased two gift cards and received excellent customer service from the two employees working there!

Love this place to death. Absolutely a great ice cream place and I’ve been going here for years. The only thing I don’t appreciate is how sometimes there are only one employee serving many people and takes forever.

Best Baskin Robbins EVER!!! Me and my family were able to sample a few different flavors and the rep was super friendly and our ice creams were the best! Great experience. Friendly staff. Extra clean. 5 stars for sure.

Clean store with super nice staff. They need more help here in the weekends. Nice assortment of ice cream cakes too!

I do like Baskin Robbins although to be honest, I’m Team Coldstone (full disclosure).
~ Customer Service:
I’ve never had bad service here, and I’ve been coming to this place ever since my pre-​teen days where I was probably an annoying little shit to the staff as youngins usually are without realising. The servers are usually really nice and friendly; you really can’t fault them!
~ Treats:
I’ve had their ice cream plenty of times and to be honest I’m not the biggest fan. It’s all right, but because I’m more of a traditional flavours type of girl I genuinely don’t feel like there’s anything special about Baskin Robbins that one-​ups me getting my flavour from the ice cream section of Safeway.
Basically, the ice cream here is good and affordable so I can’t give less than 3 stars. However, I don’t find anything about it that draws me back and makes me think «Wow I’m really craving some Baskin Robbins right about now!»
TIP:
~ Don’t just try their ice cream. Check out their drinks too! To be honest I much prefer their drinks over their ice cream. They do some great shakes that really fill you up.

WHERE: Located on the side of Lucky’s to the left of Starbucks.
STAFF: The girl working there did a good job on the sundaes and seemed patient especially since I wasn’t sure what I wanted. My cup didn’t have sticky ice cream residue which I feel like is a good indication of a good ice cream scooper associate. She rang up my coupon appropriately and efficiently too.
ICE CREAM: I did a taste test but there wasn’t a nearby trash cup by the register like I’m used to seeing. I opted for the gold medal chocolate with chocolate vanilla and caramel and a scoop of the Snickers ice cream a top a brownie with sliced banana whipped cream and cherry. Tasted good! Looked pretty too.
DEAL: Look for coupons in newspapers I had a buy one sundae get one sundae for 99 cents so $ 12 for two ended up being $ 6.99! Deal!

Amazing customer service and generous proportions, would not pass up a chance to get two scoops over one. Your choice of waffle cone is critical to your experience but all expectations will be met and passed no matter the choice.

I ordered an Oreo and it turned out pretty good! The ice cream is smooth and not too sweet. Love it!!!

Wow it was my first time there with my boyfriend, and I mean, I knew baskin robbins ice cream (everything) is expensive, but a banana royale is $ 7?! :O He and I shared and felt pretty good about it. Well I’ve gotta say, the bananas are banana! They were yummy! But the lady said they ran outta hot fudge! Sad life. I forgot which ice cream he chose, but it was meh to me. He doesn’t really like things too sweet, I guess he liked it more than I did. No, I’m not going back to any Baskin Robbins ever again. Not worth the $$ and the ice cream is just meh…

Just came in and Darlene was so sweet just like the pop rocks ice cream lol but I don’t recommend that ice cream it’s way too sweet! And I got a free birthday kids scoop and I chose the snackaroo flavor which is one of their new additions since I’ve been there, it’s kinda weird but it’s alright. My sister got a drink from there and she didn’t like it so she went back to get it re done, and My sister said that Darlene was so great about it and made sure she liked it and she also said «I want it to be to your standards» quote from Darlene! She’s a fresh breath compare to other people that get annoyed to do their jobs right. Anyways this is a okay place it’s clean but small so not recommended for huge parties…

They touched the cone with no gloves on. They said they don’t use gloves. I’m not going back to this location.

We regularly visit Baskin Robbins in Union City and have used them for cakes, ice-​cream and of course Milk shakes. Yes they are often busy on a warm day and you may have to wait, but it is WORTH IT.
We recently bought a birthday cake there and they really went the extra mile, custom designing it EXACTLY to our specifications. To give you some idea how impressive this thing had five layers, «choc-​crunch» add-​on (yep, you know you need this) and then in addition to writing on the top we had six «mini-​cones» all of which had a separate flavor that the kids picked out in the store — it was A*W*E*S*O*M*E
For the record, while I usually always like Mint Choc Chip this is the only place I order a different flavor and it’s «Dark Love Potion 31» — fantastic!

I’ve always preferred ice cream over yogurt. I like the service at baskin robbins and they offer a lot of variety too. One thing I think sucks though is their pricing. It’s through the roof. You can basically buy a whole half gallon of Dreyer’s ice cream at Lucky or Safeway for the same price as a double scoop of ice cream from baskin robbins. I get you’re paying more because its a specialty store but still, it doesn’t make that much sense for the customer. Having said all of that, I’ll still pop in there after a nice meal and have a treat.

I missed out in 2012 (there was another Union City location, but it suddenly closed), but I used my Birthday Club coupon this year.
We were only here for about 10 minutes on Saturday (my wife suddenly left because she had to take a dump), but my family and I had a nice time.

The seating capacity here is only 14, but I know that this is actually solid. So does my friend MiYun: «14 is pretty good for a BR.»
This location isn’t quite the hole in the wall that many others are.
All the employees here seem to be Asian girls (believe me, I’m not complaining).
They’re very friendly and cute (our cashier on Saturday was so appealing that some of my hookers encouraged me to add her to my harem).
The décor here is great.
This isn’t as obvious as it could be, though, because it tends to be kind of dark inside.
Our son was fine, but my wife and I were burning up (it was sweltering inside).
Even our cashier was sweating a bit.
I want to believe that it had to do with my good looks, but who am I kidding?

I love some other flavors too, but Cherries Jubilee is my favorite.
A single scoop (referred to as a Kids Scoop on my wife’s receipt) is now $ 2.49.
The scoops keep going up in price (they were just a little over $ 2 in 2011).

The freezer in the back was totally empty.
You can still buy ice cream and ice cream cakes to go, though (some items now seem to be located at the counter).

Ice cream tasted differently now compared to my younger days.
Staff did not seem as enthusiastic as I hoped and remembered.

Service is iffy… scoops keep getting smaller and smaller…

This time the lady I helped me was very helpful she offered me substitutions for an item that they did not carry this season and everyone was very satisfied and pleased with everything they thought she also was very quick and giving us our order. I find this Baskin-​Robbins is always very busy. It did take a long time before we were served because there’re so many people and not enough servers
