We also operate a full service mechanics shop, providing professional repair, restoration, upgrade, maintenance and modifications of tube and solid state amplifiers, analog effects, guitar electronics, and analog studio gear, vintage or modern, using the very finest materials available today. We operate a small wood shop with capabilities to repair or rebuild most cabinets, and we also offer Tolex vinyl, cloth, and hide covering service.

History

Established in 2015.

We are excited to be a part of today’s movement toward a decentralized economy, toward equality and intimacy of experience. Looking out at the musical landscape of today, we see hundreds if not thousands of competitors, all vying for a place in the market, alongside a thriving DIY community of makers and basement hackers. What an amazing time to be alive, no? As small, newly formed, local business it’s our sincere hope that we can serve you, to make your life as a musician better, more enjoyable, and to help you to make the art that our times so desperately need.

Meet the Manager

Ted B.

Manager

We started in 2015 to provide custom, hand-built instrument amplifiers and effects for musicians who play guitar, lap steel, and harmonica/harp. My experience with music began in grade school, and evolved through my teen aged years as I learned to play electric guitar. My experience with electronics goes back even further, as my father was an electrical engineer who began to teach me electronics at a very early age by working on projects together. With his help, I used this understanding in my teen years to modify the electronics in my guitars, repair tube amplifiers and effects units, as well as other non-music projects. I’m happy to be able to provide a local service to the tri-cities repairing, restoring, upgrading, maintaining, and modifying electronics for other musicians.
