History

Established in 2013.

We came together after seeing that our clients with dual diagnosis (substance dependence with eating disorders) were being moved from one facility to another when the disorder that was considered secondary surfaced. At The Recovery Village we treat the whole person. We address the substance dependence and the person with an eating disorder at the same time. We treat substance abuse with a mental health issue at the same time. We treat an eating disorder with a mental health issue at the same time. Through best practices, we merge our expertise in the field of substance abuse, mental health, and eating disorders to address the needs of the whole person treating mind, body, and spirit.

Business Owner

For over a decade, the disease wreaked havoc on his mind, body and spirit – despite his success as a financial executive. He suffered through a broken marriage, multiple emergency surgeries, homelessness, repossessions and poverty. Finally, after several half-​hearted attempts to «get clean» Mitch decided his path needed to change; he wanted help. Most important, he wanted to provide a chance for others to stop the cycle of destruction“

After completing his own treatment program at St. Luke’s Recovery and Treatment Center in Miami, Florida, Mitch built a career in the treatment industry. The Recovery Village is Mitch’s personal vision; made possible with his two brothers’s support and his relentless passion for helping others change their lives.
