After working with Mr. Hale for over 20 years and purchasing several policies, he recommended I change one my policies and wrote a very misleading letter on his proposed change. He failed to give specific details on the surrender charges and loss in cash value even after a comparison was requested.
After believing that he was acting in my best interest I moved forward on the change and then found out I had lost over $ 100,000 in cash value that was paid in commissions to Mr. Hale and Northwestern Mutual. I have filed complaints with the Ga Insurance Commissioner and Office of Consumer Affairs. Be forewarned about trusting Steven Hale!
