A couple of years ago we were anxious to buy a new car for my husband — we knew we wanted a slightly used car and had decided on the make/​model. Had a bad experience at a new large dealership down the road in Westford (Boch Honda West), so decided to try a smaller local place. We walked in with our pre-​approval from a local military credit union and had a great purchasing experience with Modern Auto! Simple, no bull, no pressure — all around great! So great in fact that we now get all our service done there (Modern Auto Service and Tires), and have purchased a second new car for me. Two and a half years later, still very happy with the service and our new cars.

I recently bought a 2008 Volkswagen Jetta from modern auto. I used to work across the street from them and decided to check them out. Ended up financing the car for a decent price, sales associates were helpful and arent bothersome. But after having the car for just under a month, still under warranty, the axle broke and left me stranded. They fixed it but charged me a $ 100 deductible which I did indeed agree to on the contract. When i was running late to pick up the car and called ahead and told them I’d be a couple minutes late I got a nasty response and smart comments. So a couple weeks later the car starts to misfire and throw all sorts of codes, of course right after the warranty expires. I fixed it and it happened again, so I replaced 500 dollars of things on the car not even 3 months after I bought it. So one more time the axle breaks… And I have to get a 100 dollar tow back to modern auto to get it fixed which then took them 2 days to cover their asses. Worst dealership around, all they want is your money nothing else. Would not recommend to anybody.

I recently just bought a car from Leo at Modern Auto Sales, and I had an amazing experience. Before I went to Modern Auto Sales i went to two other car dealerships that were awful, one of them let me think I had the car and let me drive home and have it for the following day and then called me the next day to tell me the loan didnt go through, it was an awful feeling.
At Modern Auto Sales when I got there I told them my budget and what I was looking for, and they had two cars that were in my price range and what I was looking for. After driving both of them i ended up getting one of them, exactly what i was looking for.
When it came to the loan they were really helpful and got me approved by a bank that denied me prior at another dealership. Kevin even drove me to one of the banks to find out why I didn’t get approved and what I had to do to get approved, you wont get that anywhere else. They care about every customer that walks through the front door, they don’t just look at you like you’re a sale, they see you as a human being and treat you like one.
I highly recommend everyone buying a car here, they are amazing and did such a great job at making me feel great and not screwing me over. BUY YOUR NEXT CAR HERE!!!
