We specialize in custom floral arrangements, using only the highest quality fresh flowers. We recieve new flowers every few days, so call to see what we have available. We have an on site wedding designer, that can make your dreams into reality with her 30 years of wedding experience. We also carry a large selection of green and blooming plants with unique containers. We have balloon bouquets. We have novelty containers such as ceramic footballs, golf balls, baseballs. Also, glass cubes with fish, and other novelty ideas for men. Give us a call, we can help you with any questions about what to send for which occasion.

History

Established in 1940.

The Flower Box was founded by a local family, Clarence and Velvie Young. They started the shop on the downtown square and eventually moved to the present location in the historic brick street neighborhood. The Young’s lived in the upstairs portion of the store. As the years went by, Mr. Young added on to the building and used all the available space. It is now owned by the 2^nd family that bought the business in 1983, David and Regina Money. We still have the original display cooler and use it in our showroom. As the floral industry has changed, we have continued to be a leader in the cutting edge of floristry. We have a combined total of 90 plus years of floral arranging on staff. We can make your dream come true.

Meet the Manager

David M.

Manager

David has been the manager and owner of The Flower Box since 1983. He is also the designer for all the funeral arrangements. In his tenure he has probably created a few thousand designs of all different arrangements. His specialty is creating a design that will memorialize the life of a loved one.
