Shoe Carnival

My friend and I stopped over at this shoe store one week ago yesterday. She found three pair of shoes she liked and I found two plus a jar of brown shoe cream. We stood in line for quite some time while the cashier argued with a customer about the discount she should get on her purchases. There were two other employees watching this but neither offered to open another register to take care of the growing line of people waiting.
I finally asked what it was going to take to get them to open another register.
One of the employees gave me a look like I had disturbed him and then opened the register.
When I got home I tried on one of the pairs of shoes and they really hurt my ankles. So I decided to return them. I then realized the jar of brown shoe cream was not in my bag. I returned to the store and first tried to exchange the shoes but could not find anything I wanted.
I told them about the shoe cream not being in the bag and the «manager» who did not even speak to me said to wait a minute. I left and went to the back of the store and was gone for at least 5 minutes and then the cashier received a call on his headset saying it was okay to replace my missing shoe cream.
This morning I used the cream only to find it had been open before and some had been scooped out.
I have over the years bought many pairs of shoes from this store.
I will not be going back.
