History

Established in 2008.

We started out just brokering energy service in Texas and primarily offered an over the phone energy consulting service. We worked with a dozen electric suppliers in Texas and assisted in brokering affordable energy deals for commercial and industrial customers in Texas. We have since opened up a residential electricity comparison online tool as well as a similar commercial service compare tool. We still offer advanced energy consulting one on one with energy consultants available to assist customers on the phone. Our bid process utilizes the leverage we have built with each provider based on the volume of business we bring them. We achieve cheap prices compared to what an electric supplier normally offers because they know they will not get our business if they don’t offer a competitive rate. Our philosophy regarding how we do business gives the customer the best deal while the provider ends up loving and hating us because they have to cut out much of their profit margin.

Donny Eisenbach started Electricity Bid after quitting his job with Accenture in 2007. In the humble beginnings he worked from a basement creating a website that would facilitate bringing in customer leads for his service of providing energy consulting advice for commercial and industrial companies in Texas. He has since grown his business to provide online comparison tools for not only commercial and industrial customers but residential customers too. Through Donny’s guidance Electricity Bid continues to offer honest straight forward advice regarding the best provider and price to go with. By keeping integrity as a core principle of the business Donny has built a loyal fan following of his company and receives constant renewals through the use of his electricity price comparison tools. Energy consultants are still utilized for larger sized commercial and industrial accounts where custom pricing must be used. Residential customers are always encouraged to call in with questions.
