Surf Song Bed & Breakfast is a unique experience in accommodations. We offer well appointed rooms with attached private bath, fantastic breakfasts and common areas that you will not find anywhere else on Tybee Island. For example, large wrap around porch, in ground swimming pool, beautiful gardens, and more.

History

Established in 2013.

The Surf Song story began as just walking through an historic old house! They were having lunch with some friends and decided to go preview some of the what Tybee Island had to offer. Sherry and Cindy are both realtors, so this was nothing out of the norm! Keeping up with the market and what it has to offer is key to their industry.

Well, that is when it happened! As soon as she walked in the door, Sherry fell in LOVE! Everything about the old house intrigued her. The windows, the floors, the tin ceilings and the history, she was hooked. Now, all she had to do was get her husband and sister on board! This was not going to be an easy task! She had the vision. But how could she convince Greg & Cindy this house was meant for them.

After lots of thought and preparation, Sherry did it! She convinced them that this would be a perfect family venture. Greg would be the financier, Sherry would plan the remodel and get the business up and running and Cindy would be he Innkeeper.

Business Owner

Cindy comes from a family of entrepreneurs. Her parents had many different businesses while she was growing up. Her father owned a construction business and then later both parents went into the restaurant business. This is where Cindy started. She helped manage the restaurant for many years, then ventured into real estate. She was very successful, but felt she needed a change in her life that brought her to Tybee Island.

Her wonderful personality and business skills seemed to be perfect for running a Bed and Breakfast.
