Specialties

The Tuxedo Junction Inn is a family owned and operated Restaurant & Pub with three generations of family ties to the Tuxedo community. We are conveniently located on route 17 in downtown Tuxedo Park, NY. We pride ourselves in a philosophy that centers around creating a welcoming pub atmosphere to enjoy authentic Homemade American Cuisine & Spirits. Our culinary inspirations revolve around unique variations of classic pub cuisine, using only the freshest ingredients. Our everyday menu is built to be family affordable & provide a variety for guest to choose from, however we offer a revolving door of creative weekly dinner specials. First time diners are recommended to try our Rebel Roaster pulled pork hero, fresh 100% angus beef burgers, a refreshing twist on the classic Cordon Bleu as a panini, Thai lettuce wraps, or Corned beef Eggrolls. Specialty drinks include but are not limited to the Ready-to-RUMble Caribbean style refreshment.

History

Established in 2011.

Formerly Taverna Tuxedo, New owners James Hartley & Emily Nicholas reinvigorated this small town bar by returning it to the principles that made this great location such a success in the past. With a long history of family ties to the Tuxedo community they’ve brought back a sense of nostalgia renaming the business The Tuxedo Junction Inn, a combination of «The Junction» & «The Inn» both names inscribed in the memories of many Tuxedo Natives dating back to the late 40’s when Chef James’s grandfather first opened «The Inn.» In it’s heyday prior to the construction of the thruway «The Junction» was a local landmark in the 70’s & 80’s. Slowly but effectively these vibrant new owners have instilled excitement locally by dedication to great food, spirits, & weekend nightlife.

Meet the Business Owner

Emily and Jimmy H.

Business Owner

Emily and business partner Chef Jimmy have owned and operated The Tuxedo Junction Inn since they established it in 2011. Chef James is originally from Fort Lauderdale, but found his way to Tuxedo where his mother grew up. Emily was born and raised locally and even attended Tuxedo’s own George Baker High school. After graduating with honors, Emily studied business and restaurant hospitality prior to applying to Taverna Tuxedo where they first met. She started as a hostess and rapidly worked her way into her role as general manager. In 2011 the two collaborated in buying the majority ownership of the restaurant renaming it with aspirations to restore this once local landmark to its former glory. This rejuvenation remotely rests on a more innovative and consistent deliverance of their menu but more importantly people enjoy going to The Tuxedo Junction Inn for the camaraderie that Emily’s infectious personality inspires.
