Wags & Wiggles Dog Day Care

Don’t hesitate, just go! Everyone, the owner, the trainers and the staff are all so nice and truly care for ALL the dogs and its refreshing to see people who love their jobs. We have two dogs and utilized both day care and their board and train program. Day care is great and convenient, our beagle was worn out after. We also have a second dog who was having issues with other female dogs. For this we worked with the owner, who is awesome! She is a busy woman, but always made the time to work with our time and get back to us. We told her our situation and she recommended a few options for us, didn’t try an sell us on anything. We decided that the board and train was our best route. We received daily report cards, videos of some of their training sessions, one on one training, and follow up training sessions. We’ve had our Lily back for about a week and half and we are so pleased with what the Wags + Wiggles team were able to accomplish with her. I can’t thank you Wags + Wiggles enough!

Our little pup, Carter, was a rescue. We may have been preemptive in rescuing her during a very busy time for us but we fell in love. At first I was really worried about what we would do during the few longer days each week and then I found Wags & Wiggles! We did our temperament test and of course, she was shy on the first day but now I get to see her running around and playing on the live cameras. I love that most of the staff seem to know her name when she comes in and they’re affectionate and loving to her. I also love the pricing since she is still a puppy. They have a $ 20 per day deal until the puppy is 5 months old so we have a bit of time left on this. Carter comes home super tired but seems happy. We’re thankful to have found somewhere close to home with a great staff and daily schedule.

I have absolutely no doubt that my dog is in good hands at Wags and Wiggles, however I was disappointed with the customer service.
As a new customer, it was rather frustrating not to be told on the phone ahead of time when I scheduled an appointment for my dog’s temperament test and play date that she needs to have a fecal exam. It’s very inconvenient to drive all the way out to this place from my home only to be told my dog cannot stay for a few hours because of a test we were never notified of.
When I brought my dog back after the fecal test for a second time and told the staff when I needed to pick up my pup in order to work with my already busy schedule, they told me (without notifying me in advance) that my dog needed to stay for at least 4 hours, and that if she stayed for less and anything went wrong she would never be allowed back.
It does makes sense to have several hours to get used to the environment, however I would have really appreciated the staff being more clear about the details of her appointment, since a lot of my time was wasted simply because I was not given all of the necessary information.

I am a fan of Wags and Wiggles because when it comes to our dog when we travel a lot for work she loves it but seems to get anxiety now. She started coming home and throwing up a lot. We let them know after it happened two times. They have noted it now in her record of the issue and is going to make sure she comes and leaves with less anxiety.
I give it three stars because the owner just seems unhappy. The crew is always smiling and love when we bring our dog in. Every time I have ran into the owner, never a smile, unpleasant face and seems only on a mission and not really caring about making a customer relationship. I have seen reviews of people saying the crew need to be in check but that won’t happen unless the owner show more motivation and a positive attitude.

They care about the dogs and in that regard are trustworthy. The trainers are friendly & helpful. It’s my opinion that — the management at Wags & Wiggles, the lack of customer service & loyalty, as well as the front desk staff — are in dire need of some attention. For me, it was enough to eventually drive me away. It’s disappointing.

We absolutely love wags and wiggles and ALL their staff. They are incredibly devoted, kind, and just amazing. Every week, I walk into the main area and everyone is always welcoming and helpful.
We have been taking our dog here for agility training for two years now. At his first class, he barely had the courage to walk into the room and was terrified of everyone and everything. We saw a change in our dog each and every week — and now he is sociable, brave, and absolutely LOVES his class. My husband and I both attend the class, and I honestly think it’s the highlight of the week for all us!

I did research on what training/​daycare facility I would be using before I got my Samoyed puppy. Wags & Wiggles seemed to fit best, & I am so glad I chose them! I signed up for the training for life, which includes a large variety of obedience classes for 2 years. Training is going well & I love that the trainers will work with you if your pup has some sort of behavioral issue (mine has developed separation anxiety). We are still working on it but there is progress!
I also took him to daycare for the first time a few days ago. Timid at first, but then was able to break out of his shell. I will definitely keep bringing him to daycare so that he gets use to it, he seemed so happy after I picked him up!
I definitely recommend Wags & Wiggles for training or daycare!

Wags and Wiggles Tustin still has a Rock Star Staff and facility! My fur crew grew to 3 and they have assisted me along the way to ensure my new Rescue Pup was happy, trained and LOVED. Plus they all care so much about ME and make sure I am always updated on how they are doing.

I love Wags! They have such a great training program and everyone there truly cares about our dogs. Lysa is an amazing person and is always helping us whenever we have a training or health question. It’s a nice place for our puppy to get to play with her siblings. We do both day care and their training for life program!

Wags and Wiggles is the absolute best facility for my babies. Yes, «My Babies.» I have two extremely spoiled rotten hounds and wouldn’t trust anyone else with my babies. My babies are not someone else’s dogs to the staff and ownership – they are considered family to the entire Wags and Wiggles team.
I’ve been a customer of Wags and Wiggles for 5 years and have used all services offered. I have not one time been unhappy.
THE BEST FULL SERVICE DOG FACILITY ON EARTH!!!

We have two rescue cattle dogs who both are considered «reactive.» I have done training for our girls in group settings as well as private sessions. The staff here are amazing and very sensitive to our dogs needs. They are expert trainers, I have usually had Laurie or Lysa. I have learned so much about how to best work with my dogs — they didn’t only train my two cattle dogs but they trained me!
I have referred this place to several of my friends for boarding and training. My friends all want quality care and they want their dogs to be happy. I have heard several times that their dogs jump out of the car and run for the door — they are so happy to be visiting wags. It makes it easier to leave on vacation when your babies are well taken care of.
Thank you, Wags, for creating a safe and fun place for our dogs to play as well as an educational place for us dog owners to learn.

What a wonderful doggie day care, clean spacious and with two of the best trainers in the business running the joint.
My dog loves the companionship of the other small dogs (they of course have separate rooms for big and small dogs).
My favorite part of our visits is when I have a little extra time to stop for 5 minutes and get my Fuzz Therapy for the day by watching all the dogs playing through the window in reception. I think they could put a viewing gallery in and sell tickets.

We love this place! I’ve put one of my dogs in their Training Bootcamp, and both in daycare and boarding. Monkey went through a monthlong Bootcamp and is SO much better! She listens, and is so much easier to handle. We feel much more comfortable letting her around our baby. We also took a training class, college prep, and we really liked that too– more practice on what she had learned and around other dogs.
Daycare is great, the dogs come back so tired! I also really like that they have cameras so I can watch my dogs throughout the day!

We cannot speak highly enough about Wags and Wiggles. They have been our reliable friends for eight years for day camp, slumber parties, and training for our family’s dog. She is a skittish dog who had been bitten by another dog at Central Bark in Irvine, the staff there know her and she trusts them to keep her safe. The warmth of the entire team at Wags is lovely. When we travel our dog comes home tired but never stressed nor skinny — they ask permission to amp up her meals with gravy to entice her to eat well.
Lysa leads the devotion and they rescue dogs, train them, and place them with very lucky families. Lysa trains her dogs to be big personalities with excellent manners. When she worked with our dog her gentle manner was encouraging and perfect.
Each time we recommend Wags to friends we get rave reviews and thanks. We thank Wags and Wiggles for being terrific!

My dog comes here for daycare and boy, does he love it! Check in is easy and quick. Drop off takes a little bit longer since they have to get him. Free Report Cards helps me see what he’s been up to throughout the day. He always comes home tired and is way more chill for the next 2 days.

We have boarded our Chihuahua Buster with these wonderful people for over 7 years. The facility and staff are simply top-​notch. They are conveniently located and always have adequate parking. They carefully «interview» each dog to make sure that no contagious or aggressive animals interact with yours.
They create a detailed chart with your dog’s health problems, likes and dislikes, medications and food needs. They are very careful to keep current contact information for you and your pet’s vet. The facility is clean and cheerful. The doggie play rooms are great. They are spacious and bright, with toys and lots of staff to ensure all of their safety. Why let your dog sit in a depressing cage most of the day when they can play wth their friends and roam free here? It’s a no-​brainer. You can even watch them on the «doggie cam» on the internet. They periodically send out cute photos of the winners of «dog of the day» etc…, and we are proud to say Buster was a past honoree. The cost is very reasonable for this level of care and human/​dog interaction. They even pre-​sell days at a nice discount. The staff were professional and friendly at all times. Most importantly to us: Everybody all knew Buster by name they and all seemed genuinely excited to see Buster and lavish him with affection.
As Buster’s health declined, they continued to board him and kept up with his many pills and diet changes which we know were work-​intensive. He went into severe respiratory distress this weekend due to heart failure and sadly we needed to put him down. When we called them to notify them, they couldn’t be more sympathetic and supportive. They cancelled our future bookings and even offered to refund a large number of prepaid days. Totally unexpected and appreciated.
Any dog lover knows how incredibly painful ths is to experience and we miss him beyond words…

I am a dog trainer, but I can’t very well put my own dog in my own classes, so where did I go to train my own puppy? Wags. Since I had already trained all the basic-​to-​somewhat-​advanced obedience by the time my puppy was 6 months old, I started him in Sport Dog Level 1. I specialize in fear/​aggression issues and this is my first «performance dog» (agility, Rally, etc), so I had NO idea what to do to prep him for agility. Sport Dog is the best place to start.
After taking class with Lysa, I no longer feel so lost and I look forward to taking the nxt class with her! Lysa is funny and entertaining, but more importantly, she knows what she is doing (she has a lot of ribbons to prove it!). She is supportive and non-​judgmental, and she is all about listening to your dog and figuring out what your dog needs to be successful in learning what you are teaching. I am signing up for the Training for Life program so that I can take advantage of almost all of the classes for one price. Even trainers need to take their dogs to classes to proof their dogs’ skills, and this is a great place to do it!
TL;DR: Lysa is a fantastic trainer. Sign up for Training for Life to save a ton of money on taking multiple classes.

This place needs to get their staff in check! I was excited to use them, but now I NEVER will.
I called inquiring about having my 2 dogs stay and they asked us to come in for temperament test. I also asked the lady on the phone everything my husband needed to bring in order to board them tomorrow, as we are leaving for Mexico for 5 days and are new to the area. She told me current shot records. When my husband arrived, they then denied us to board our dogs because we didn’t have fecal testing done. Now I leave for Mexico tomorrow with no where to put my dogs. I called and informed the manager that he needs to get his staff in check and let them inform people of fecal testing to board and informed him of my situation. He half assed apologized. If the lady would have just told me that I needed fecal testing when I called Saturday, I would have been able to get it done by today before o dropped them off. Now, I’m screwed all because of them.

I admit to having the worst nervous dog mom syndrome. When I first got my little chihuahua, Brooklyn, I could not even make it through a work day without freaking out about whether or not she was okay at home alone. Wags & Wiggles has changed everything! Brooks goes there once or twice a week and absolutely LOVES it. She comes home totally exhausted and I know that she has enough mental stimulation to be able to leave her home while I go to work the next day.
The first day we went she was obviously petrified, but now she literally runs through the door excited to play with her friends and dog sitters! I love love love the webcam just to take a quick peak at her in between meetings, etc. I feel completely at ease and I know that Brooklyn is at a safe place that she truly enjoys. I can’t recommend Wags & Waggles enough!
One quick note: You have to have your dog for at least two weeks before you can take them to Wags & Wiggles. I took Brooklyn there the day after I got her for her interview and they let me know of the policy. She’s a rescue and they wanted to make sure that she didn’t have anything. Better safe than sorry! I appreciated it!
