I’m flabbergasted at how rude this salon was. I walked in and waited at the front desk for 10 minutes before my husband came in. At that point he asked if they knew I was there. He to was ignored by the blond employee. I even asked for help and was completely ignored. I will definitely not be returning for any services.

This is the place for those who are looking to have a personal experience by experts and avoid the hair factories that are scattered everywhere.
These stylists are among the best in the business and have been building their clientele in Tustin for many years. For women, men, teens and children — you owe it to yourself to pay the salon a visit. Enjoy!

My first time here was in March, three months before my wedding. My roots were down to my shoulders, definitely time for some help from Nicole! She did an amazing job & was so patient while detangling my Rapunzel hair! I had another appointment yesterday, about a week & a half before my wedding, to touch up my roots again with Nicole. I’m getting compliments on my hair & I keep staring at it in the mirror. She’s a hair genius! She also cut my fiancé’s hair (he usually does it himself but didn’t want to mess up right before our big day) & Nicole aced it. His hair is lookin better than ever! Thanks, Nicole!

Oh my gosh!!! Katrina saved my hair and me!!! She fixed a bad color job by another salon. I am so happy I could cry!!! She was so patient with me and she went the extra mile to curl my hair for me. She is a beautiful girl and such a sweetheart!!! I will NEVER go anywhere else!!! The salon itself was very comfortable. I have found my forever salon!!!

Katrina does my hair and is amazing. I have never left disappointed. Wether I’m going from red to blonde or having extensions put in it always looks amazing. Not to mention she is adorable and so sweet. The best hairstylist ever! Love that woman!!!

Love this place! So cute and such a great location. Bianca is a treasure the absolute best!!! She saved my hair and I am so lucky to have found her! She is soooo nice and soooo talented! My hair was a mess but Bianca fixed it and was able to give me the EXACT color I asked for!!! After 3 years of messed up color and hair she fixed it!!! Absolutely love the environment at Salon Avant-​Garde! The stylists are professional, friendly and accommodating. The salon is very clean as well as bright and cheery. Bianca is my go to stylist and she always listens to me when I want a specific look or change in my color, cut or style. I’ve never been disappointed. Overall this is definitely one of my favorite salons that I’ve ever used.

Salon Avant-​Garde is an amazing salon! Such a great atmosphere and everyone is so sweet and nice. They have it all … Hair, facials, waxing, mani and pedis. Definitely a full service salon! Young has been doing my hair for over 10 years and I ALWAYS get compliments! It’s why I keep coming back. Katarina does a great job with the waxing! You have to go!!!

This is an AMAZING salon… Everyone is very personable… NICOLE BAGLEY is just the best. knows how I like my hair and the color… we have experimented with a few things to get it right as my hair takes to some color really fast. no issues… I recommend her highly and BIANCA… from what I have seen her do… she is just as good… so ladies or men… if your looking for an amazing color or cut… here you go… no need to look any further… FYI…if you are looking to have a facial… KATARINA…she is the go to gal… so wonderful and you are so relaxed during and after. I usually get the max when I go. waxing (s) which BTW… she does pretty much ALL of them and I get the best facial that she can give… so…STOP looking and come join them here at SALON AVANT-GARDE…IT’S THE BEST IN TUSTIN…

Salon Avant Garde is in a brand new building, new construction, very clean. Young, my personal hair stylist, is an amazing colorist. I get compliments on my hair every time I change it. I’m have very blonde hair but wanted a change so I went dark and she did a fantastic job. She got about 3 different colors in my hair and I love it. I always get the best highlights from her. While getting my haircut I was offered a beverage and magazine. All the staff are very friendly and it’s a very nice atmosphere.
