Pre-planning ensures that your wishes are precisely followed, while your family is not burdened with the task of making emotionally difficult decisions. Funding can be arranged to cover funeral costs so that no financial burden remains. If you simply wish to make your choices in advance and keep them on file, we are happy to help you with this at no charge. We would be honored to talk with you. History
Established in 1963.
Saddleback Chapel was originally founded by a number of concerned Tustin business leaders and today prides itself in being in its third generation of independent family ownership. Saddleback’s motto stems from the word compassion not commission, serving all ethnicities and faiths honorably, equally and respectfully for nearly 60 years.
Meet the Manager
of Pre Need Sales, Rich R.
Manager
Rich has been an independent contracter-employee affiliated with Saddleback for some 13 years. He is a licensed California funeral director, a licensed preneed life insurance agent and an ordained minister. He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s from the University of Redlands and a Doctorate from Trinity Christian University. He also independently owns and operates a 30 acre prayer and cremated remains [ash] scattering park (Ashland Acres) nestled in the foothills of Juniper Flats, California. In addition Rich sells unique, one of a kind, grave markers, plus designs & conducts personalized, meaningful and memorable, life-celebration [funeral/memorial] ministries on behalf of Saddleback Chapel for fellow Christians as well as for other faith and/or non-faith families. His and his wife, Brenda’s, lead-motto in life calls for «Truth and Compassion.» Loving one’s neighbor as oneself says it all! Their favorite prayers are the Lord’s Prayer, the Psalm 23 and the Book of Numbers 6: 24 – 26.
