The place was difficult to find and had poor signage. Also, stock on hand was limited as they do a lot of business online.
That being said, James gave me great service, taking the time to educate me on wetsuits. He ensured I selected the right suit in my price range and helped me get the right fit. He did not pressure me at all and gave me the option to purchase through him or order online.

Very helpful staff. I was searching for my first triathlon suit and called the store to ensure they had items in stock for me to choose from. Staff helped me identify the right suit and had no issues answering all of my questions. Thank you for helping out this beginner triathlete.

sold me a Zoot Z Force 2.0 Sleeveless Wetsuit 2013 — Women’s for $ 125 minus a 5% coupon discount of $ 6.25 for a total price of $ 118.75. They took my payment information and emailed me confirmation that my payment was received and my order was in process. I received another email from them about 5 hours later stating that they sold out of the product I had purchased but recommended the Orca S4 Sleeveless Wetsuit Women’s as a comparable alternative for $ 198.95. I feel like
deceives its customers offering products at a discounted rate, hoping that they can upsell another product. I’m completely disappointed and disgusted by their dishonest business practices and have never in all my internet transactions been told a product I ordered and paid for was not in stock after the fact and that they would not even exchange it for a comparable product.

Go here to get anything you need for your tri-​athlon. They have a huge inventory, and you can even shop on your phone for items while you are walking around the store. I always rent my wet-​suit from them and its a great experience.

Waisted my time today. Went to look for a tri compression suit and they were closed even though I was there between their scheduled Saturday hours. Big time Dissapointment! As I wrote this I watched person after person attempt to visit the store. The lights were on but no one was home!

I went in for a visit today since it was my rest day from Triathlon training. After reading the reviews here I was looking forward to checking out a friendly triathlon store. I got there a bit after 5pm, and there were three other customers in and what looked like two sales reps. The one behind the counter just kind of looked at me when I came in. No one said «hi» as I walked around the really tiny space twice. Selection was sparse. I saw their website and had expected to see more selection. If you are in for a wetsuit fitting this may be a good place as the other sale rep not behind the counter explained in detail (I overhead, since the store was not large) about wetsuit fit and selection to the other two customers trying the suits on.
I finally rounded up front after the third customer left and asked to see some DVD’s in the glass case. She got the one I asked for and turned back to her computer to work on the register. The other sales rep joined her and he started working on the terminal, too. I wanted to ask questions, but didn’t feel like I should since both of them seemed kind of stand-​offish to me, so I waited for one of them to turn to look at me or something. Meanwhile, another customer came up and stood behind me to wait to pay for some products.
The second sales rep left the counter, so the first one finally looks back at me and I ask to see the other swimming DVD in the case (since the first one was not what I was looking for) I got out of the way and she rang up the customer behind me. Alas, the second DVD was not what I was looking for either, so I set the DVD’s down and thanked her for her time.
Overall I was not impressed by the selection, prices, or the customer service which was the most underwhelming of the entire experience. A disappointment, but I will stick with other choices for triathlon supplies.

I’m new to the world of triathlons. Thought I’d save some money buying a new wetsuit online without having tried one on before — that was a mistake. With 2 weeks left before my first sprint triathlon this past September, I discovered One Tri rents wetsuits.
Visited midweek during my lunch hour. Everyone was busy helping other customers so I wasn’t helped right away, but eventually Stephan (?) assisted in finding the right wetsuit for my challenging body type. He first explained the difference between wetsuits and what he recommended for my skill level. I proceeded to try on 2 wetsuits, which was interesting (they don’t have AC and it was a warm day)!
Stephan explained that it was a good time to rent — they were in the process of selling their rental inventory from the past year to make room for new models. I could have applied a rental credit towards the purchase of the suit, which was actually never rented — brand new! The amount he quoted was higher than the amount I paid for the rental. Unfortunately, I forgot now how much I would have saved, but it would have been a bargain. In the end, I didn’t purchase the suit ’cause ideally I’d like to lose more weight.
Rental cost was pricier than what you see online, but you can’t beat being able to try it on in person and having peace of mind. I also extended the rental time for an additional cost, and he told me not to worry if I was a day late returning the suit. This is a great little shop, I would definitely return here in the future for any other tri needs.

* Best wetsuit selection — they even carry harder to find brands such as Nineteen
* Can have great discounts online, good amount of sale items
* They rent out top brand wetsuits, sleeveless or sleeved. Most other stores only rent out low quality suits.
* The website is awesome, very clean looking and well organized
* Overall great selection on everything tri-​related
Cons:
* Retail store doesn’t honor the online discount promotions (ie 15% off if you spend over $ 189)
* Wetsuit rental is a bit on the high side ($ 70) but you do get the suit for a week and it is a top name brand so this is not much of a gripe.

Do Not Go Here if you want value, a good deal, or great customer service. I had found a better priced product on

and asked if they could price match and the store rep emailed back and said that they would be happy to price match, Great! So I mentioned to the customer service person, via email, I would be in that week to pick up the product. Well I arrived two days later and the retail manager, Stephen, would not price match and said the customer service person had incorrectly given me the wrong information! So I left and bought my product elsewhere and will not return to onetri and will order at
instead of onetri — horrible experience and service. I was extremely disappointed because I read good things about onetri so I gave it a try and it was just a really bad experience; worst customer service and higher prices.

The guys here are great. Will, Jerry, Greg, and Stephen were all very helpful in getting me set up with my new triathlon gear. They have some really good deals on bikes right now and I was able to get a 2010 Fuji Roubaix 2.0 which retails around $ 999 for $ 650.
Greg was really great with the bike fitting and helping me select a good pair of clipless shoes and pedals for a beginner to get started with. The other guys were extremely helpful in helping me select my gear. I was really impressed by how knowledgeable they all are and how they never tried to sell me really expensive stuff I didn’t really need or wasn’t ready for. Their selection of stuff is amazing as well.
I expect to be coming in here consistently for all my tri needs from now on.

Excellent place if you need swim gear. My daughter (age 12) had just joined the ORCA swim club and needed swim googles, a swim cap, swim fins and a swim buoy for training. Greg was very helpful in recommending items that were good quality and also on sale. I would definitely recommend this store over any local sporting good store based upon the quality gear and service.

I’ve never written a review on Unilocal before but the staff at One Tri were so helpful that I really wanted to write one.
I’m brand spanking new to the world of Triathlons and found this store online. I decided to drive down to One Tri last Friday from the North Hollywood Area. It took me about an hour and a half to get down there. The actual store was much smaller than I thought it would be but that tends to be the case with me when I go to new places that I’ve found on the internet. I often think they are much bigger in my head and once I get to them they are usually smaller.
When I walked into the store I was greeted right away. I had talked with the female employee at the register over the phone earlier about trying on a wetsuit. Unfortunately I don’t remember her name but she was extremely helpful. She asked me a few questions about what type of suit I was looking for. I had already done tons of research on Tri wetsuits and decided that I wanted to try on the TYR Hurricane Category 5 wetsuit on. After talking with her for a bit she had me try on the Zoot Conduit wetsuit. It fit like a glove, I continued to try on a Blue Seventy wetsuit and that one wasn’t as comfortable as the Zoot. Her opinion was that the TYR Hurricane Cat 5 suit is a phenomenal suit especially to race in but if I was going to use a wetsuit to train in and use a as a race suit that the Zoot would be a much more durable suit for a beginner like myself. The TYR wetsuit retails for $ 624 and the Zoot wetsuit retails for $ 400. She could have easily upsold me on the TYR wetsuit and made the company more money however she was super honest with me and recommended that I go with the Zoot. That in itself will make me a life long customer. There was another young man there who also continued to answer all of my newbie questions about Triathlons and ask questions about my background in the individual sports and made suggestions about other Triathlon equipment but as a bike.
The staff there is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They even went out of their way to try and find me places in my area to train for the swim. Even though the retail area of the store is on the smaller side they still carry a decent amount of stock on the floor. The distance from me is both a bad thing and a good thing. The bad thing is that it takes me at least an hour and a half to get there and the good thing is that it’s at least an hour and a half to get there otherwise I’d probably be there every weekend spending money!

Hi, my name is Robert L. and I’m a triathlon addict. One-​Tri is my drug dealer of choice.
I rolled in with a friend a half hour before closing thinking that I’m just going to browse around a little and familiarize myself with what’s out there, since I am a newbie triathlete having just gotten bitten by the triathlon bug. well, that quick stroll around the store turned into an hour of shopping and learning. it’s a small shop but they have a wide selection and a good sale section as well (i spent much of my time in that section).
i also spoke at length with greg, who like lesley said, is very knowledgeable. A further benefit is that he did not have the common salesman pushiness, even after closing time. The fact that the shop is family owned (which I only learned here on Unilocal) made my shopping experience that much better!
i’ll be back to buy profile bars for my road bike soon. and once i have the money, a dedicated triathlon bike.

So. I decided to sign up for my first sprint Tri, as a complete newbie I needed everything. The staff at One Tri were amazingly helpful at helping me pick out everything I needed for the race. They had great suggestions on what I could use and worked within my budget.
They had lots of inventory of different colors and sizes. Being a girl and liking everything to match, this was pretty important and made them stand out. I was able to see what they carried online and try them on at the store. Which, I highly recommend, because the fits are a lot different then what I anticipated, it was definitely worth the drive from Los Angeles to do so.
Family owned business. Plenty of store parking. Great store for all levels of: swimming, running, biking or tri. Thanks One Tri!
