The buck stopped here for me! I been to a few different places for back waxing around O. C and left feeling indifferent till I found Blood Daisy Effects. My 1^st time there I showed up in a rush (almost late) I was greeted warmly and given a questionnaire about my general health and pain tolerance. I noticed Maria (owner) actually cared, because she went over the questions w/​me before she started my procedure. There was background music that was tantalizing and I instantly felt a wave of serenity take over me. Maria’s approach was nothing less than skillful. She showed extreme care though all phases of the procedure and judging how she eloquently answer all my skin related questions not skipping a beat, I have to say Maria is a true professional that takes pride in her work and definitely not out trying to make fast money with little effort like other places I encountered. Thank you Maria!

Maria is AWESOME! Very gentle and professional. She was also very patient with me when I did sugaring for the first time. I was very nervous but she made me feel comfortable.
I have also taken my 16 year old son for acne treatments. Maria does an amazing job! His skin looks so much better and healthy. It’s nice to see the boost in his self esteem. I am very grateful for that.

Third time getting sugared (all different times) Maria has definitely been the best! She is so kind, extremely gentle, and actually asks the right questions about pain tolerance and hydration before the sugaring happens. I had an embarrassing moment this time around, and she made me feel comfortable anyway. I definitely would recommend her to anyone that asks me a good place to get sugared! Got my first sugaring done by Maria, and I absolutely loved it! She was really careful and took her time, she is really patient and easy to talk to. Definitely recommend everyone to get any services done by her, I want to try the laser facial next time.

She’s really nice and totally reasonable with her prices and its really easy to schedule with her. Call or text. The location is clean and very modern. She uses top quality products and has great technique for sugaring, she’s fast but not painful. Great at making you feel comfortable in an uncomfortable situation. I have recommended her to my friends and sister. She’s awesome in a great location.

Maria is wonderful. Extremely professional, patient, and kind. I had a facial and sugaring (for the first time) with her, both were fantastic. She is not one of those pushy people who tries to sell you products. She did not even mention it until I asked. Very knowledgeable and was nice enough to answer the million questions I had about choosing a skin régime.
Found her on Groupon and thought it would be worth a try. I will definitely be going back! Her suite is located in the Phoenix Salon at the District in Tustin.

If you’re looking to get «sugared» look no further! I’d never done it before and heard it’s better than waxing. Any type of hair removal isn’t pleasant however this was by far the most tolerable for my sensitive skin. I felt extremely comfortable with her. The layout of the room is relaxing and very clean. I loved that everything was labeled and white making the atmosphere so pleasant. I’d highly recommend her to anyone. Her five stars are well desired. I’ll be seeing you soon Maria!

Maria is awesome! I came here for a sugaring because I saw her on groupon. I was nervous because she didn’t have very many reviews but she was terrific. Very CLEAN, very professional, excellent customer service. She takes her time and gets the job done right. Even without the groupon her prices are more reasonable than any of the other salons I’ve been to. Try her out, you won’t regret it.

I made an appointment to come in to get my legs «sugared» because I wanted to see what all the fuss was about, so I finally decided to give it a try!
I set the session up at blood daisy and upon arrival was greeted by Maria, who was very friendly, also the one who was to service me. I feel that Maria went above and beyond the call of duty! Not only did she do a through job but also made me feel very comfortable! Oh! Let’s not forget to mention the affordable pricing she offers!!! Not over priced, which is always a good thing for my wallet!
My first visit went so well that I returned for a second visit! This time even more impressed than the last! Maria serviced me on a high frequency facial (my terminology might be off) that is where she takes this rod that has a glass tube on the end of it and ZAPS AWAY YOUR PIMPLES!!! OMG! Where have a been I didn’t know this exists! My face cleared up in no less than 24 hours! I couldn’t believe it! It could also have to do with her choice in products she uses! I’ve seen her products in dermatologist offices in Beverly Hills! Which means quality!!! I’m all about quality! I have chosen her to help me defeat all my acne and facial problems because I know she uses only the best! Plus the amount of knowledge and years or practice she has acquired over the years make me even more confident that this is the place to be! Thanks Maria for being so awesome!!!

Maria is outstanding. I have had my eye browns done with her for over 1 year now and Im always 100% satisfied when I walk out of there. Maria is amazing! She did my makeup for me for my wedding and the results were even better than I expected. She spent a good amount of time with me for our trial, and we were both happy with the look that she had created, but on my way home, I started to rethink the color scheme I wanted for my eye makeup. I emailed her the next day and sent her some new inspiration pictures and she said not to worry. The day of my wedding, she showed up to the church, as promised (on time) and set up and got my new and improved look completed in an hour and a half (maybe less) and it was EXACTLY the look I wanted. She even custom mixed my lip color for me, and sent me off with a little to go kit, with powder, blotting tissues and extra lip gloss to reapply. She was patient with my twitchy eyes and really understanding when I had to hop up as soon as we were done and get dressed and down the aisle. I can’t wait to get pictures back, because they’ll be even more amazing thanks to the all night look that Maria gave me!

First of all, thank God I finally made this call, it was years overdue!
It felt great, cleansing and relaxing! I am regularly a super high strung, high stress person. For the 10 – 15 minutes lying with the mask on, steam on my face, with soft music in the background, I truly felt relaxed for the first time in a LONG time! Also, my results directly finishing were seeable and awesome! This will be something I will be working into my routine!
