Came late due to traffic but Rene was understanding about it and still did an amazing job with my Brazilian wax ($ 29 without tip). She made me feel so comfortable considering that it was my first time. Peaceful vibes here. Waterfall sounds and soothing music in a peaceful little private room. It took about ten or so minutes to get it done and I was surprised how fast it was. Remember to ask about the groupon deal!
The location is bit tricky. It’s in a little plaza with big houses around them. Park on the side and walk in to find the number outside the house. It is located upstairs.
Overall, great experience. I am satisfied with my Brazilian wax that I received! Will be coming back for future appointments.

This is an update for their service. Last time I went there everything went smoother. When I called to make an appointment, they were able to schedule me the next day. I liked that improvement.
They moved to a different building. Now it’s upstairs. Little odd layout, but worked fine.
This time Renee was a little faster (which I prefer) and made sure I’m satisfied with results.
I liked that she was treating me differently. That makes me think she can do well and willing to improve customer’s service.

I had a little trouble in the beginning get ahold of Renee as a few other reviews state but it all worked out. This was my first time sugaring and I am totally pleased with the results! Renee was also very calming and really wanted to make sure I was getting the service that was best for me. I will definitely be going back. Thank you!

I bought a groupon for sugar Brazilian waxing. On the same day that I bought it I called them to book an appointment. The guy who answered the phone (I think his name was John) said that he has no appointment available until 11 days later and if I don’t take that single appointment they have none until one more month from that date. I booked the appointment. On the day of appointment I parked my car and while I was walking to their building I called them to tell them I will be there in a minute. The guy said that they can not see me anymore because I was
3 MINUTES late to my appointment!
he said he has to reschedule me for another time and he has no appointment available for another month. I suggested to wait until next customer is done and go after her or start my service since I still had 27 minutes of my 30 minutes appointment left and if next customer showed up cut my service short and end it. He was so rude and not accomodating at all. I didn’t even had a chance to go inside the building. He refused me completely. I have never heard or seen any business interested in getting customers to be this dismissive or rude. I called the Groupon and refunded my purchase.
I prefer not to deal with these kind of businesses.

If you really want to treat yourself to a great massage, go here! Renee’ is my usual therapist but I have also been massaged by her husband John. Both – are terrific. The place is classy and you feel very comfortable in the separate massage rooms. There is lovely music playing, heated sheets in the winter, hot towels, massage done just right. You couldn’t get a better experience. My boss got me some massages for my birthday and it was so nice, I got him some massages for his birthday. He loves it here too!

Groupon massage for this and I had Rose. They weren’t overly friendly and could have been a bit friendlier especially at the end of my appointment by asking how it was, if I wanted to come back, etc. The massage, it was ok. Not bad, not great. Definitely not personable to my problem areas or other massages I’ve had. It felt like a «routine» massage in the way the motion and «order» of it went. Almost like it was a machine just getting me thru the appointment and onto the next client. They are booked way out in advance so trying to get an appointment or make changes is not flexible at all. Wish them the best but will not return.

Went for a massage today to this place, and I think I’ll definitely be back. John had a fantastic technique, firm yet soothing.
The place is very clean, doesn’t have the usual frills but it is calm and relaxing. Must try if you haven’t already

The location was nice and had a clean feel inside. I went for sugaring and I was not too pleased. All the hair was suppose to be removed and there were a lot that did not get removed. Also, I have had NO LUCK trying to schedule my next appointment. I was only going back because I bought a Groupon for 3 sessions but it doesn’t matter because I can’t even get an appointment for another month during the day.

First of all, they are very thorough with directions of where they are located in the e-​mail. Second, staff is wonderful and very professional. Location is tidy and clean. And when they say they are going to give you an hour message, it really is an hour!

I’m going to err on the generous side and go with 4* because maybe we just visited on an off day. We were barely greeted and given their form to complete. Great. Filled in everything, circled the diagram, listed purpose of visit, noted my pain issue, etc. No one invited us to use the relaxation room so we sat by the front door until our appointment time. We didn’t get the warm and fuzzy feeling I expected after reading their website and Unilocal reviews.
Not only was I looking forward to our massages with Renee and John but I NEEDED a massage because of a little fall I had a week ago — my shoulder and neck issues written on their profile form.
Hubby had Renee and said it was a pleasant massage, she asked if he had any specific areas, and he was generally pleased. He said the pressure definitely wasn’t firm enough and I said that is because deep tissue is an extra charge.
My massage with John was less successful. He asked NO questions and proceeded with the massage. After 5 – 10 minutes in, I realized he wasn’t asking questions, wasn’t focusing on my problem areas, and had not even read the form I completed. By then, I felt very awkward bringing it up and making an issue so I just (regretfully) let the massage continue. It was a relaxation massage with generally light pressure with far too little focus on my neck area (tho plenty in the middle of my back) and almost none on my shoulders. I was especially disappointed because his bio lists ‘pain management’.
We had booked these with a voucher and I had intended to leave a generous tip to compensate but I changed my mind because I was disappointed. I left with the same neck and shoulder issue that I arrived with.
It’s a nice little place and we probably just caught them on an off day. However, if they want clients to write down all their info then they should take two minutes to review it before the treatment begins.

Wow — this place and Renee’s hands are worth every penny! As a member of Burke Williams, I can tell you this place is quieter and more relaxing than the hustle and bustle of Burke. It has all the basics and no fluff — its just down to business of getting a massage. Be prepared to ask for what you want — renee will see you get all the pampering you need!

Tucked away in the courtyard of a small business center, this place is fantastic, as well as a bargain. Renee is a terrific masseuse, as well as a pleasant person.

My mom and I were visiting family in CA. We went to EsScentials for Body & Soul on the recommendation of my sister-​in-​law. First of all the spa is located in a wonderful setting. We were relaxed before we stepped into the door. Once we stepped into the door, we felt more relaxed. We were greeted as if we were family or close friends. Then we were offered something to drink. The massage rooms were very serene and relaxing. John, the Massotherapist, was great. He makes you feel at ease and before you know it, he has worked wonders. His wife, Renee offers facials as well as massage. My mom and I agreed that if we lived there, we would be regular customers.

I found Esscentials for Body & Soul through one of the discount vouchers that are so popular. The office is very peaceful. Renee had me fill out a questionnaire and went through it with me to find out what my needs were. I really liked the massage Renee gave me. I’ve used other discount vouchers for massage. The massages were pleasantly relaxing. The massage I got from Renee was healing as well as relaxing. Renee is very knowledgable. I had numbness in one of my legs and Renee did research on how she could help me on a subsequent visit. I have been back several times. I’ve brought my husband with me and John gave him a good massage. We are both happy with Esscentials for Body and Soul. I have recommended Renee and John to other family members.

My Boyfriend discovered a deal for this place. which had it not been for that we never would known of it or gone. kind of hard to find on the net… but he treated us each to 90 min massage which was a great value, very well executed and offered in a nice relaxing in nice ambiance, including small touches like chocolates & real water glasses in the wait room, water features and my headrest scented w/​lavender (tho my boyfriend said his room smelled like waffles and made him hungry!) but that is the only possible neg we can say about this experience. They were GREAT! John and Renee were pleasant, they knew their stuff, did a fabulous job and it was good value as well.

Upon arriving to EsScentials you may think you are lost or in the wrong place. That is until you walk in the door and up the stairs were you are greeted by Renee and John and instantly transferred from the non impressive streets of Tustin into a small little piece of utopia.
EsScentials is the perfect place for a message. Not only a message… check this out… A glass or 2 or 3 of campaign then off to a tranquil room of soft music and gentle waterfalls.
It is so comfortable all you can do if fall into a trance and pass-​out.
