Business Owner

Cory Barrett started as a delivery driver for the largest court reporting company in Orange County California in the 1970s. He advanced as a production worker, a new computer operator assisting reporters, and became a hearing reporter in 1985, then as a Certified Shorthand Reporter in 1987 working directly with attorneys and clients.

He worked day to day for 25 years and reported over 5000 depositions and proceedings, still maintaining CSR Certification No. 7512 today.

Now as a Certified Manager of Reporting Services, Cory brings all his experience to the table for the company’s clients every day. Along with the entire team of staff and reporters at Barrett Reporting, the ultimate goal is assuring clients’ needs are met and exceeded each and every job scheduled.
