This place ROCKS! I took a 10 day hypnosis training and it was far beyond anything I would have expected. They even provided some of the most comprehensive and best business training I’ve seen in a long time. That alone was worth the tuition. This class absolutely prepares you to start seeing clients right away, with real life experience and hours of practice drilling. The 5PATH training is unbelievable on how effective it is yet makes perfect sense and was taught expertly.

I feel like a new woman! I had gone for hypnotherapy in the past but nothing compares to the changes I’ve experienced after a few sessions with Brenda. I was already a Certified Hypnotist but attended the Banyan Hypnosis Center’s Hypnosis Certification Super Course just to add a little bit to my educational background. WOW! What an understatement. I didn’t just learn a «little bit» to supplement what I already knew, I learned a whole new way of looking at things, and working with clients. Instead of putting a band-​aid on a client’s symptoms to help with a problem, I learned how to find the root of the problem and help the client neutralize it, changing their whole mindset.
Cal kept the classes so interesting, the time just flew I still can’t believe how fast those two weeks sped by. I love how Cal was «down to earth» and how he explained things in such an easily understood manner. He spoke from experience, after working with thousands of clients over the years. Not only did he teach us how to do the best hypnotherapy work with clients, he taught us how to improve things within ourselves, to be able to better help our clients. Here are the reasons why I believe they offer the very best hypnosis training in the world :
1. Cal Banyan is an exceptionally good instructor and teacher, and he’s also the creator of 5-​PATH and 7-​th Path self-​hypnosis. He is probably one of the best hypnotists in the world and truly understands how to educate others on how they can be great hypnotists as well. He is the real deal and has heart. He cares, and its obvious in the work he does.
2. Learning 5-​PATH and 7^th Path Self Hypnosis. 5-​PATH is one of the very best methods of hypnosis and hypnotherapy out there and during training you will learn not only how to be a hypnotist or hypnotherapist, but you will also learn 5-​PATH and 7^th-​PATH. I would consider 5-​PATH a framework, or system — maybe a protocol. It combines the very best hypnosis techniques available today, yet it is flexible enough to apply to any client. It’s a way of thinking and applying advanced hypnotherapy techniques to situations that just plain works.
3. Feeling comfortable seeing clients. After becoming 5-​PATH certified from the Banyan Hypnosis Center I felt comfortable seeing clients. That’s not always true with other hypnosis or hypnotherapy training courses, and that was what happened to me — I took a different course which gave me a good start, but not until I was 5-​path certified did I feel ready to see clients.
4. Ongoing support. The support that you’ll get after graduating is top-​notch. You will have thousands of colleagues around the world — you will not be the «lone hypnotist». The ongoing support provided by the Banyan Hypnosis Center is extremely valuable, especially if you’re just getting started as a new hypnotist. I don’t know any other training program that offers the level of ongoing support their program offers.
5. Great products. Every product I’ve purchased from the Banyan Hypnosis Center is top-​notch and worth every penny.
6. Business support. Not only does the Banyan Hypnosis Center provide great hypnosis and hypnotherapy training, but they also provide products and services that help you run your hypnosis business.
I would recommend anyone thinking of taking hypnosis training to take the NGH Approved Banyan Super course or Week of Power, they’re both excellent hypnosis and hypnotherapy training programs. Furthermore, if you’re looking for products to support or further your career all of them are excellent.

I must begin by saying that I am not surprised when I hear that the Banyan Hypnosis Center is a world-​renowned training facility in the field of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy. The facility itself is very warm, professional and inviting to both students and clients alike. Additionally, the staff are incredibly helpful, resourceful, dedicated and caring.
I participated in their Super Course Hypnotherapy Certification Training and the experience was far beyond my expectations. Firstly, the course design and material are top notch, as is the instructor –Cal Banyan. Cal guides this course brilliantly through the use of lecture, case study videos and, most importantly, practice drills. I cannot emphasize how much these drills helped me to gain that sense of readiness in applying the highly regarded systemic approaches of the 5-​PATH process.
As if my mind wasn’t blown with the use of 5-​PATH, the introduction to 7^th Path Self Hypnosis brought tremendous insights into my own healing process using a beautifully crafted holistic approach. The use of both 5-​PATH and 7^th Path Self-​Hypnosis are essential to giving our clients back their truest selves and leading them to the fulfilling lives they so richly deserve!

Cal’s 5-​PATH Hypnosis class took my hypnosis practice to the next level. I learned a true system for hypnosis and always have a plan of action. I attended the hypnosis certification course here, and it was purely transformational! The contents of this course so far exceed what I ever expected or even hoped my training be that it’s difficult to even articulate. Without exception, every single participant in the class was blown away by what they learned and said that their expectations were far exceeded. The quality of the instructor (Cal Banyan) is absolutely top notch. In all my years of education, including both academic and military training, I have never met a teacher that can challenge and motivate people quite like Cal.
As part of the training course, you also learn a very unique form of self-​hypnosis called 7^th Path. Until you actually SEE or experience this process applied in person, it is impossible to understand or fully explain how amazing it really is. I had been practicing self hypnosis for a long time before I took this course and have had some AMAZING success with it, but 7^th Path still totally blows me away.
As part of the class, many students are hypnotically helped with their own personal issues and the result is usually spectacular. It’s easy to put a brand name like 5 Path or 7 Path on an old technology and try to hype it as something unique, but of everyone I know who has actually EXPERIENCED either one of these processes, EVERY SINGLE one of them (including myself) has been totally blown away by how intensely transformational these processes actually are.
Learning 7^th Path has given ME the tools I need so that I cannot imagine ever needing a hypnotist to work on me personally, but if I had a friend or family member who needed or wanted help with anything, I would strongly encourage them to contact the Banyan Hypnosis Center… and I’m pretty sure they would thank me and end up referring THEIR friends and family as well…

If you are serious about being a hypnotist /​hypnotherapist, and helping your clients with a systematic approach such as 5-​Path, then do whatever you can to get to Cal Banyan’s certification and advanced training course. I cannot impress upon those reading this review now, how amazing the training was! Be forewarned that this is an INTENSE training! You will eat, breathe, and sleep hypnosis. You will be covering a LOT of material, but have plenty of time to practice what you are learning. If you are already a certified hypnotist /​hypnotherapist, the Banyan Hypnosis Center offers an advanced training called the «Week Of Power» that you can take.
7^th Path Self Hypnosis is taught in the class and is an incredible technique for self hypnosis, that is unlike traditional self hypnosis. If you took nothing away from the course other than 7^th Path Self Hypnosis, it would be worth the time and money spent. 7^th Path is a life changing self hypnosis technique. I witnessed students in the class work through issues, that would have taken YEARS in psychotherapy, in just a few minutes! Wow!
The staff at the Banyan Hypnosis Center are very professional, and their hypnotists /​hypnotherapists are caring and highly trained. Cal Banyan is a gifted and amazing teacher who really knows what he is talking about. Maureen Banyan is very knowledgeable about business and provides information to the class about getting your hypnosis business up off the ground.
I had an incredible time at this training! I am so excited to bring my new skills to my clients, to help them move forward in their lives.

I attended Cal’s Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy Supercourse in the midst of a major life transition. I had lost my job after a 15 year career, and knew that I needed to find a new profession that I was passionate about, where I could help others in a significant way, and where I would feel like I was making a difference. I knew that I was not in a position of going back to school or other training opportunities for a long time– I needed to get back to work! I discovered the Banyan Hypnosis Center, learned about the certification training, and decided to give it a try. I figured that at the very least, it would give me some marketable skills and possibly help me heal from some difficulties that I’d experienced in my former profession. At best, I’d find my calling and get started helping people!
I spent the weeks before the training pouring over assigned materials provided with my registration for the class, reviewing as many episodes of Cal’s weekly video podcast, Hypnosis, Etc. as I possibly could, and listening to The Secret Language of Feelings Podcast. I walked into class ready to learn, and boy did I learn!
The two week course far exceeded my expectations! It was absolutely intense, absolutely hard work, and absolutely riveting! During this time, we learned the techniques to induce hypnosis, how to test the level of hypnosis, how to convince the client that they are in hypnosis, and of course, what to do with our clients once they are in hypnosis! Cal’s 5-​PATH system of hypnotherapy is top notch, effective for a vast variety of issues that clients will come to see a hypnotherapist for. This system made me feel confident that I could help people in profound ways once I began my new career. We also learned Cal’s self-​hypnosis system, 7^th Path Self Hypnosis. This mind-​body-​spirit approach works nicely alongside 5-​PATH, but it also stands alone very well. The healing provided to the student through learning this process might be worth the price of the training on its own! Additionally, we spent at least 2 hours every day practicing hypnotic inductions and age regression techniques on each other. This practice helped me learn the techniques and understand them on a personal level, having experienced them over and over each day with different students. Class time is a mixture of lecture, review drills to prepare us for our tests, videos of example sessions, and self hypnosis. We learned 7^th Path Self Hypnosis by being in hypnosis for at least an hour each day, followed by discussion about the experience. During this discussion time, Cal further teaches techniques for 5-​PATH and 7^th Path by using these techniques on students as they report back their experience. This self hypnosis process is a very healing process for the students who choose to participate in this process– I saw lives change during those two weeks in ways that made me a true believer!
The training center is very conducive to learning. Comfortable chairs, a nice patio to sit on during breaks, a kitchen where you can have your lunch, healthy snacks at breaks, and fabulous hypnosis rooms to practice in!
Cal is passionate about being a teacher and wants to raise the profession to new levels, providing trainees the tools that he wished he’d had when he was a new hypnotherapist. In addition to training, he offers a variety of free services to graduates and hypnosis professionals, including message boards, the weekly podcast, and the OurHypnoSpace social network. He also makes available lots of resources for graduates to purchase so that they can continue their education– going deeper into the techniques that they learned in class than time allowed for.
This class is intense and is designed to get you to go from classroom to clients in a short amount of time– I can say that with absolute truth, because within just two weeks of graduating, after a heck of a lot of effort and dedication, I started my own practice and was seeing clients… and you can too!

I took my Certified Consulting Hypnotist training at the Banyan Center a few years ago and it was absolutely outstanding! Their 5-​PATH hypnosis system is the best I’ve seen, and their 7^th Path Self-​Hypnosis uses simple, logical principles to let you get amazing results through self-​hypnosis.
Cal Banyan is an exceptional instructor. His years of experience helping people with hypnosis translate into him being able to effectively communicate and teach so that you can understand. There is a LOT of hands-​on work, too. By the time I finished my certification class, I’d done over 100 hypnosis sessions with a variety of other people. Compare that to the amount of hands-​on work you get at many other hypnosis schools.
If you want to become a good hypnotist, you can go to any certified instructor. If you want to become a great hypnotist, there are a handful of well-​known instructors who can help you achieve that. If you want to be one of the top 1% — the most effective hypnotists in the world — then you want to go to the Banyan Center.
I could have become certified locally, but I travelled all the way across the country and spent the time and money to learn the best techniques from the best teacher. It was absolutely the right decision for me.
I will caution that Cal Banyan’s training isn’t for everyone. It’s HARD! It was harder than any course I took in college. We were told at the beginning of the certification course that we would eat, sleep, and breathe hypnosis for the entire length of the course, and that was probably an understatement. If you’re willing to work hard to learn to be one of the best, then the Banyan Center is the place for you.
