Apex Tent and Party Rental

We used Apex Tent and Party to rent some tables and chairs for my college graduation party. Shane was very quick with getting me a quote on pricing. We booked them immediately! It was definitely one of the most affordable options in my area. My party was this past Sunday, and the chairs and tables were delivered right on time. The party was a hit, and though we had a small miscommunication somewhere along the line, it was resolved quickly by Shane. We will definitely use them again in the future! Thank you again, Shane, for all of your help!

Let us start with the lady who answers the phone-​Lisa, how rude can one be? Well let me explain-​VERY! The most unhelpful person at this location-​gives a 4 hour window of delivery while we live only 3 miles from the business. When you call to ask if they could at least give you 10 – 30 min notification she rudely responds the drivers don’t have cell phone… really lady really? I’m not asking for their number, I’m asking for the courtesy to be told when they would arrive this isn’t a washer and dryer being delivered by Sears!!! Even they are better at giving time frames that are helpful along with a call before arrival. Anyhow, back to Apex– I call back and a very friendly man answers and tells me he can CALL the driver. (Wait they have phones all of a sudden?) He returns and tells me they will be there in an hour and are running behind. Great thanks no problem. My husband then gets a call from the driver, they are lost! Once again, they have phones now?
Drop off was to be expected, quick– in and out. I ask the driver when pick up is going to be. He tells me between 9am and 5pm!!! Sorry but what the heck do you expect me to do all day, wait on your company to decide a time and NOT notify me?!
Fast forward to the following day, the day of our event and we are setting up the linens-​we had ordered 2 red and 1 green, to our amazement the Reds don’t match! Husband calls and once again gets the infamous Lisa-​RUDE, tells him that she has no drivers to deliver a new linen to us (remember we are literally down the street) and our event was to start in 4 hrs-​it really was her tone and attitude that really strikes a nerve here-​if she would’ve apologized for the mistake and explained in a nice tone that they were busy and it may take a few hours etc… but a flat too bad attitude was thrown our way. He went to pick up the new linen instead and luckily got the nice man I had spoken to the day before. He was very helpful and got the linen exchanged right away.
Monday arrives and no one called to inform us of pick up. Of course we are gone and working when they decide to drop in. Threats start being made to charge-​etc. If you have the choice to rent here– don’t! How sad is it the one employee can ruin a companies reputation-​the product was in good to decent condition, drivers were nice, reservations went smooth until the wicked witch came out on more than one occasion and at every turn when you spoke with her! Good luck staying in business when other companies are geared toward the consumer and better priced. Although they were priced higher we still went with them initially based on location and ease of ordering-​little did we know it would turn into a battle with one rude (yes emphasis on RUDE) employee and I sure as heck hope she doesn’t own the rental company with that attitude! I’d love to leave a 0 star review but will resort to the mandatory 1 and think it’s a saving grace of the nice man who does work there.

We rented table linens from Apex for our wedding on June 19. Apex was very quick to respond to our emails and calls. They were very flexible with the return date as well. Thank you, Apex, for making our wedding stress free!!!

We used APEX for my baby shower. We rented table linens and beverage tubs. Lisa made everything smooth and easy! I went in with my Baby Shower invitation to show her the colors and theme and she knew exactly what to suggest for guest tables and cake table. We reserved everything, but I called in to make a change and Lisa emailed me a new order confirmation right away. I went by myself (at 8mos. pregnant) to pick everything up and they had me back my car up to the loading dock, a nice gentleman loaded my car and I was on my way! Returning everything was just as quick and easy. The customer service was excellent, the quality of the products was great and the price was reasonable to other companies I received quotes from. I would highly recommend APEX and definitely would use them again.

Very professional. Chose to use them over a cheaper company because they had experience at my wedding venue, & I’m glad I did! They had the caretakers phone number at the Newland Barn in HB, so when any hiccups came up, they knew who to call. If you use their heat lamps be sure to have someone explain how to start them. We lost out on two of ours ($ 150) because ‘someone’ wasn’t paying attention when being given instructions on how to start them according to the rep. Didn’t matter anyway; it was a beautiful fall day/​evening so we were ok without them:) Overall happy with my experience, & if ever do another event in OC I know who to call!

We used Apex Rental to rent chairs for my Crab Boil for my family and friends. I called Apex a few days before the event and rented the chairs. Sharrell was really nice and helpful to make sure I was able to rent the number of chairs i needed. Thanks to Sharrell and Apex my Crab Boil went great with any problems. I would definitely use Apex again.

I used Apex Rental for a 40^th birthday party at the Fairmount Hotel Irvine in April 2014. They were quick to respond to my questions. Provided excellent customer service. On the day of the event the delivery staff was amazing and went above and beyond to help me pull together the set up for the event in a limited amount of time. There rentals were in excellent condition. As an event planner I highly recommend using Apex for your next event!

We used Apex party rentals for our wedding at Bommer Canyon in Irvine, CA on June 14, 2014. Everything was perfect! We went to their showroom in Tustin a few months prior and the girl that helped us with our initial order was extremely helpful and was able to show us firsthand the items we were renting including examples of set ups. They are reasonably priced and if you are having an outdoor wedding and looking for Globe lights/​café light/​large bulb lighting they have it! They had to bring in posts to string the lights from since its a hazard to string the lights directly through the trees, but it looked amazing! They confirmed our rental order about a week in advance and had a few slight changes and they made them quickly and effortlessly. They were on time for set-​up and break-​down… I would absolutely recommend Apex!

I have used many party rental companies over the years. I began using APEX about 6 years ago and they have never failed me. I use them at least 5 times per year for large business and personal events. Their administrative and delivery teams are always professional. Their equipment is beautiful and in great shape. I usually rent tables, chairs, heaters and umbrellas, but have also had APEX string lightbulbs across my backyard to add ambiance and lighting for a backyard party. I recommend this company without any reservation! They are excellent.

Great customer service! I ordered 2 tables with umbrellas, and a small table with 26 chairs. It looked great and the people who came to drop it off were very efficient. The pick up was fast and efficient as well!

I rented two 10×10′ canopy with 4 weights), 45 resin chairs, 8 white fold up chairs, two round tables with umbrellas, and two ¾ white linens for the round table for my baby shower. Apex’s pricing is VERY competitive. All their items were less than all the other 4 – 5 rental places that I had researched. There was a $ 45 fee for delivery to my house. They helped set up the tents at no cost. I also had the guys set up the chairs (around our tables) for me at 15 cents a chair. There was one umbrella that didn’t function well (but my husband was able to improvise) and two resin chairs that didn’t fold down completely, but besides that, everything was presentable, although not prestine. Kim helped us and she was very accommodating to what we needed and didn’t need as far as last minute changes.
The delivery guys were also very efficient. However, when they came to pick up the items, they had to transport the weights for the tents (apparently 300pounds each), down two steps (made of bricks) in my back yard. There were multiple dents and one really big area that needed major repair. We went to the Apex to show them pictures. Initially, Shane (the owner) said we should have told them that there were steps because the weights were really heavy and 90% of their tent set up is on flat ground. But I told him that I did bring in a diagram of our back yard to Kim prior to renting, and told her that the two tents were going on two platforms with steps. After realizing this detail, he was more than happy to reimburse us for the material and labor that my husband would have to acquire to repair our back yard. Overall, a good experience. I would rent from them again in the future if I needed to.

Called Apex the day before our event needing to rent some chairs. They were so helpful! Called at 2:30 to order the chairs and picked them up at 4:15. Was greeted with smiles and even had someone help me load my car. Would highly recommend and will use them again!

My wife and I used Apex for the party rentals for our wedding. We were set up with them through our caterer. The experience was wonderful from the first day. Shane was extremely responsive and immensely helpful in helping us achieve our vision for the wedding and managing the logistics of getting everything set up. I would highly recommend using this company!

I called APEX only a few days before my event to get a quote for some tables. Initially I was more than happy to give them my business because the quote (including delivery) was significantly cheaper than some places that are right around the block from me despite the distance! When I called back to place my order I was priced at about $ 30 higher. Realizing someone had jumbled up the quote, I explained the situation to the man on the phone and he actually gave me the originally quoted price.
Delivery was incredible. Although they gave me a delivery window of «sometime on Thursday» the guy showed up right at 10:00AM and was so quick and courteous. Wouldn’t you know, on the pick up day he showed up again at 10:00AM on the dot. He was so quick loading everything up even my father remarked «Wow, he must get paid by the job and not by the hour.»
Overall GREAT experience with Apex Tent and Party and will definitely be recommending their services to all my friends.

Ok, got the quote I needed in 5 minutes from Apex Tents and Party Rentals. I am still waiting for my quote from Classic Party Rentals that I called about 2 weeks ago. 5 stars for customer service! Thank you Shane for being all over it. Hope we can work together now.

Awsome! I used them for my wedding and after doing in depth research on products and prices they had everything I needed at competative prices. Super nice representives/​owners helped me pick out my stuff.
My only suggestion is that they get lounge furniture to rent.

Poor service…
It not all about renting furniture. The person just dropped the chairs and tables and said we cannot load these into your car because the risk of scratching your car and he vanished.
Yes i understand if it was not in my truck space, what the issue with truck? I do not recommend this place at all. I got a great service at an earlier place and they polity tell you if it cannot fit in.
