AA Smog Test Only

Asian guy is a total asshole. I went in today around 145pm. No sign up or anything, but the guy tells me to come back in an hour, as he just got his lunch. So, I go back at 3 and the guy tells me my attitude wasn’t good earlier when he sent me away and he will not test my vehicle. So, now, even more irritated for wasting more of my time, I told him to go fuck himself. Stay away from this asshole. Do not waste your money on an ungrateful shit bag. There are plenty of places that will provide excellent service. This is not one.

Came in for a smog test. Owner was very friendly and was in and out in 10 minutes!

Came for a quick smog check. Got a coupon off the net. There was some confusion over the price but the owner was amazing and gave me the lower price. Super nice guys. Smog check took only 10 minutes! They are moving location to 14 501 Redhill so look out for that.

Not sure what everyone is coma ink g about with the service. I drove straight into the stall and he insisted I don’t even get out because he noticed I’m pregnant. He’s a funny guy tho … & yes will honor the coupon but with tax, cert fee etc. it was the cheaper to go without $ 40 flat. Fast service done on my lunch break.

The guy here is so nice! Second time coming to this location and I would definitely come back. He’s quick, cheap, and so friendly. Love this place!

We stopped by this past Saturday without an appointment to get a smog check for my car.

*Parking lot is awkward to pull into, especially if it is full of cars getting gas
The inspector, Hung Nguyen seems a bit off-​putting at first, but we were extra polite and then he warmed up.
He came out of his shell and was friendly, and even funny too!
He also gave us tips about paying our registration online and was overall really helpful.

We will definitely come back again and recommend to others.

First time smogger here and this place was great! Quick service, friendly staff & great value. Other places had quoted me up to $ 70! I used a coupon here and ended up only paying around $ 40. I would happily refer anyone in need of a smog check to come here.

Was fast only took 10min. The plastic by the side my window was falling off no matter what I would do it wouldn’t stay in place, when he was done checking my car he showed me that he fixed it for me using some spare clips he had from his car. That was really nice of him. Great service.

My SUV costed ~$ 46 w/​coupon. Used to go to their FV location, but it closed. Got there, and one car was currently being tested. While I waited, 2 additional cars showed up.
Fast, friendly, and efficient as SeanD had mentioned; perhaps a little too fast because the owner was gonna let the 3^rd waiter get his car in before mine. (Friendly Asian technician knew I was next in line.) I had to mention that I arrived prior, so i wouldn’t lose my spot. Owner was very apologetic. He may’ve promised immediate-​service to the 3^rd waiter b/​c he offered discounts to the 2^nd waiter, if the 3^rd car could go ahead of him, as well as a discount to the 3^rd waiter while he waited for my car to finish.
Test itself is about twenty minutes, just be sure to get an accurate count of how many cars are ahead of you. No frills testing center: No waiting room, just 2 plastic lawn chairs.
They accept credit card for coupon price. (FV was cash only if you used coupon)

Fast, friendly, efficient. Was in and out in 20 minutes. Honest guy. No gimmicks. Honored his coupon. I would recommend.

Called and asked what they charge for smog check on an 06 bmw, the guy said it was $ 59.99 + tax and certificate, then I asked if he’d honor the $ 20 online coupon, he said he would which would make the «final coupon price» $ 49.99, so then I tried correcting his math, he said I was being «unreasonable» and hung up

I haven’t had to do a smog check in several years but one of my vehicles is getting older and I received a notice to have it done before I can renew its registration. I came here to have my mini van’s smog check done. This smog check place which is one service bay in a portion of a Shell gas station was supposed to open at 8am, but the guy didn’t show until about 8:15am. Although a coupon said the cost is $ 29.97 plus certificate, he said it’ll be $ 10 extra for vans. The coupon only specified that large vans will pay extra. Anyway since I was already here, I said okay and had the smog check done. The person wasn’t too friendly but not rude. I have definitely experienced better with other smog check places in the past.

I just got back from getting a smog test here. Ace was friendly, great sense of humor and very efficient! I couldn’t be happier with my experience. Especially considering it cost half the amount other places are charging in the area! I will definitely be back and highly recommend AA Smog Test Only!

First off, let me just say I went to this place on accident… When I did my Unilocal search I had called and booked my appt with the place across the street. When I got off the freeway I quickly realized that there were two places and both had Star. somethin somethin. So. I got out of my car. saw Robert and quoted me a great price. Had me in and out in 15 minutes! He is quite the chatter box but rather nice to carry a conversation with.
Overall. happy mistake. in and out in a jiffy! I shall return

Second time getting my car smogged here. He’s quick, cheap and efficient.
$ 40.00 cash (with printed coupon) and I was in and out in 15 minutes (there was one car ahead of me so that’s not including wait time). It can be very busy during the late afternoon (1pm onward), but even still you should be there less than 30 minutes. The owner is super bratty and racist, but he is hilarious and gets the shit and shoo’s you on out of there to get the next car in, so don’t take it too personally if he yells at you.
I see no reason to go elsewhere.

I love this guy. I went to him a few years ago and I just went to see him yesterday again. He knows what he’s doing. You pass. What more do you need?
I don’t understand people who want good customer service from a guy who gives you a great deal and knows what he’s doing. Go to a frickin’ spa if you want to be pampered.

My sister got a smog check here a few months ago and referred me to this place. Robert was very polite and courteous. He did his job professionally and efficiently. The price is so reasonable for such a good service that I received. I would always come back to have my smog check here from now on. Best smog check experience I ever had.

Prices are good & test was done somewhat quickly but the tech seemed very rude & possessed zero customer service skills.

I have been going to the guy for years… i Went there yesterday with a coupon, it said 29.99 + 8.99 cirtificate fee… He then proceeded to tell me that, it was 39.99 + the certificate fee because my VAN was concidered a TRUCK!!!
i needed it done so i did it anyways…
it came out to 46 $, i gave him 60 $ and he only handed me back 4 $ !!! I told him he only gave me 4 $ where is the rest, and he was like «oh sorry, here you go»
