Everything is homemade. Had the Halla bread French toast and biscuits and gravy. Absolutely outstanding quality and service. Only bout 10 min from South Salem and worth the trip to Turner.

This is a really nice place to have breakfast and lunch it’s all from scratch cooking and not out of cans and bags the baking is wonderful. You won’t be disappointed if you come here and have breakfast or lunch very clean place and the owners are very nice people so if you’re in the area before you take off and maybe have some wine at Willamette Valley Vineyards because only a short drive away come here and enjoy you’ll have a good time and wonderful food

This was an amazing find, and a perfect lunch spot after leaving the Enchanted Forest. The food is made from scratch, they serve breakfast until 2(when they close), and their food is really delicious. I had the waffle, and was extremely impressed(seriously…who knew that one could be a waffle connoisseur)!. My husband had the meatloaf sandwich(he had it cold, but you can get it hot, too), and our son had the mac and cheese. The staff was very accommodating, the seating was comfortable, and the area was very clean. You can see into the kitchen, and from what I could see, it was also very clean. What a great place! And there’s a fantastic park behind it to let your toddler work out off his(or her) lunch!

Lovely café on the main street in Turner, Oregon. Every morning the baker comes in early to make cinnamon rolls, Danish, challah bread, banana bread, etc.(Get there early or call ahead to reserve a cinnamon roll because they do sell out!) My friend and I both ordered the challah French toast which was served on a warm plate with cinnamon honey butter and warm maple syrup! It was delightful and very good. She also ordered a side of ham which was very tasty. I believe I have found a nice little place in a quaint town and look forward to returning in the future.

Amazing is all I can say. Two of us shared a veggie omelet, breakfast burrito(no meat) and oatmeal pancake. We came on a Tuesday morning so there wasn’t a wait. Shannon was our server and she was fantastic. I’m visiting from Phoenix but if I ever return to Oregon, I’ll be back!

A cute little diner with fabulous breakfasts(can only say that — haven’t been there for lunch. Yet.) The décor is cute without being overwhelming. The seating is very comfy.(Too many places these days have chairs which are too high, tables which are too low, or heaven forbid, BOTH.) A mix of booths, tables, and even a handful of seats at a bar.(The seats are old tractor seats turned into stools. Cute!) The greeting, seating and service is warm and friendly, in a very genuine way. The breakfast — I admit we’ve gotten the chicken fried steak every time we go – is fresh, flavorful and not greasy at all, as some diners can do.

Impeccable service. Delicious food. Great value. Let me rave for a moment about the homemade from scratch biscuits AND homemade from scratch gravy! Rarely do you get homemade both, but with a full time baker on staff, lots of their food is homemade. And by lots I mean 98%. Save the bread. And only cause they don’t have a bigger kitchen. A place where I can order breakfast all day? I’m in. A place where I can get breakfast AND homemade dessert, I’m down! If you’re tired of standing in line at Word of Mouth, make the short trip out Turner Road and thank me later.

My girlfriend and I love this place. We like to start with a home made cinnamon roll and after that, everything on the menu was great. We live in Salem so it is a bit of a drive to get there but it takes less time to drive to Turner than to get a table at Word of Mouth. Definitely must try it.

Great service! Great food! I love that they have hearty gluten free pancakes. The Turnaround Breakfast is my favorite. Great portion sizes. Their sweets are delectable. It’s obvious they’re made in house, they’ve got that homemade quality about them. The servers are super friendly and the service was quick but not rushed. This is definitely a not-so-hidden secret in the small town of Turner. I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone, especially lovers of breakfast.

Only been here a few times, but will definitely be back. Food is really good. Not a lot of choices but good sized portions. Only drawback so far is small size of building requiring a wait most times. Get here early if you want(need) to try the cinnamon rolls.

After living in turner since I was 10, I was very excited about the addition of a new restaurant and especially after such great reviews. We went there a workday morning and had biscuits and gravy and a cinnamon roll. It was served quickly and the service was great. The portions were very generous. Overall a good experience, except for the flavor of the food. In my family and my opinion, the food was quite bland. The gravy was hearty but needed seasoning /‘d the same goes with the potatoes. As a new restaurant I hope the seasoning issue is just a side effect of being a new restaurant, but we will see!

This place is amazing! I am a southern gal and this place is like a slice of home! We had breakfast. Every bite was amazing to say the least I had a moment! The cleanliness of this establishment is off the charts! The waitstaff are super sweet and work together to get the food out in a timely manner! The biscuits are like they came straight from my grandma’s oven! We will return here over and over!

It’s the talk of the town, so I had to try it. I arrived at a little after 11a on a Sunday. They were pretty full. They had some room at the breakfast bar and I graciously accepted rather than taking up a full table by myself. I figured they’d need the table eventually and they did. The actual bar seat was intimidating because I’m no small lady, but the seats were surprisingly comfortable. I ordered the Lumberjacks Breakfast: chicken fried steak, eggs scrambled, biscuit and added a side of bacon($ 4 for a side of 4) and iced tea. Iced tea is fresh brewed and very good. Food is served in large portions. The staff and owners are attentive but not bothersome and everyone was VERY nice. They really know how to make you feel welcome. My food arrived and it looked great. Chicken fried steak is my absolute favorite, so I was excited to dig in. The gravy was not as thick as I’m used to, so I was a little disappointed, and there was a slight sweetness to it that I could have done without. The eggs and potatoes were very good. The steak itself was a lot of breading, but I think that’s my favorite part of chicken fried steak, honestly. It had a great crunch and the taste was wonderful. The bacon was cooked perfectly and while it wasn’t the thickest cut bacon, it was also very good. I’ll definitely be back, there’s no doubt. I saw some french toast on the menu made with their homemade challah that I’m dying to try. Ultimately it was totally worth it.

WOW! Where to start? Awesome décor, country, farmy, darling. Service: fast, friendly, excellent, she knew what we needed before we asked. Food: it was very hard to decide what to order. I am a fan of breakfast, but I’d heard their hamburgers were the best.(Biscuits, hamburger buns, challah for French toast, croissants for breakfast sandwiches, cinnamon rolls, pies, scones, muffins all handmade in house.) I ended up ordering a garden omelette with gluten-free pancakes. And yep, they were outstanding. The guy next to me ordered biscuits and gravy. It looked so good I almost helped him eat it. They make their own sausage, too. I also saw some beautiful salads get delivered(they serve breakfast and lunch all day). The coffee is Ticos and delicious. And I thought the children’s menu was great. I ordered a GF pancake, eggs and applesauce for my date. And he ate it without crying. So, it must have been pretty good. No complaints. Very impressed. Will return.(For hamburgers! And perhaps biscuits and gravy. And more GF pancakes.) Please, somebody try the Delaney Waffle and write a review. Thanks.

It gets two stars because the food was really good. The service on the other hand, was terrible. Our waitress was friendly when she took our order, our food came, then we never saw her again. My coffee was never refilled and was served in a tea cup. $ 2 bucks for 4 ounces of coffee? My wife asked for hot sauce and ketchup that was never brought. She eventually got a waitress from another table get it for her. Our waitress never even came back to give us the bill, another waitress did. And it’s not like she went on break, she was waiting on other tables close by. I may try this place again because like I said the food was good. But I would want a different waitress.
