Pool’S Moving & Storage – An Agent Of Allied Van Lines

My husband is active military and this is the third time in using Pools Moving and Storage. It doesn’t matter where we live– They always accommodate us! Abby, who assists with the coordination of plans and dates is awesome. The follow-​through is top notch. She is quick to quote you a rate after explaining how important it is to make sure you get measurement of furniture items, how many boxes and sizes. The rates for us have been more than fair along with making sure you give them accurate information. The drivers have always been polite and reliable. I highly recommend this moving company– This is one area of a move that I most definitely don’t have to stress that it’s going to be handled properly. Thank you to Abby and staff!

We waited whole week so they can come and give us an estimate. The morning of that appointment Abby called and informed that the lady who was supposed to come called in sick??? I had made arrangements according to that. What kind of service is this ?? Isn’t there be someone else too who can come ?? Abby was nice but what if someone called in sick the day you are suppose to move. I didn’t feel it was reliable so chose some different company.

We recently used Pool’s Moving & Storage teamed with Allied for our cross country move. The packers arrived on time & packed everything with efficiency. The gal that came out to give us our estimate was among the packers & this put me at ease as we were letting 3 strangers into our home to pack up everything we own, so her familiar face was very nice. One of the packers while attempting to move our very heavy desk, broke it. I was watching when it broke & I am curious if I wasn’t standing there would he have said anything? We’ll never know. Overall good experience there. Then the car hauler, Peter, came. He was a 5 star guy ! He was GREAT with keeping communication with us from the time he was coming to get the cars, during the haul, & at drop off ! He was very polite & overall a great guy ! The next day the actual movers came. Edgar was our driver & him and his crew arrived nice & early… Worked all day & somehow made it so that all of our stuff would fit ! He was very nice, as was the crew ! A week later he arrived with our stuff. It was nice knowing that the driver picking up our life was the same driver delivering it. There is a good feeling that comes with that. I still have boxes but thus far, nothing is missing & although a few things are dinged up, that’s to be expected & the point of buying insurance. The crew with him upon delivery was just as good as the crew he had when picking up ! They reassembled all our stuff & were very pleasant ! Vicki & Abby in the office were awesome ! Vicki made a point to always check in with me before the move to see if we had any questions… She was very nice & helpful ! All in all… We had a GREAT experience & we’re happy with the decision we made to use them ! Thanks, Vicki, Abby, Peter, & Edgar

WARNING! Do NOT use these movers if you value your property! I unfortunately made this recent mistake. They arrived SEVEN hours late, packed concrete statues on top of my desk (destroying it), and then had the audacity to charge me full price!!! Many items damaged beyond repair. Use this company at your own risk — it would be better to rent a truck from U-​Haul!!!
