I’ve used this company for several events and they’ve always done a great job. They are definitely the cheapest in the area and we have always been happy with their services.

Bad customer service with an attitude. Seems to be family owned, and must have all inherited the snobbish, too entitled attitude. I was 7 months pregnant and the staff just watched as I unloaded chairs from the back of my car. If I could give them zero stars I would. One of the worst business in Turlock. Rather drive out of town for rentals.

Here is a quick summary, you can read on below for more details. + they were able to add several items a few days before the wedding +Everything was in decent conditions(tables are sketchy looking, but with the table covers they were fine. –They mislead me about their refund policy — the delivery truck was SUPER late. –They made no attempt to apologize or keep me as a customer. I was excited to order the rentals for my wedding from this place. Other family members had used them in the past and had great things to say. When I walked in the first time, someone helped me within 10 minutes. I pretty much knew what I wanted and created a list of items. I paid the deposit and that was that. I went in a few months later(still months before the wedding day) To pay off the balance, I asked SEVERAL times, that if I paid the full amount, would I be able to get a refund for items I didn’t end up needing. I was told that«yes absolutely», I would get a refund(minus the deposit) up to one week before the wedding day. With this in mind, I reserved several more items than I planned on needing in case I had more guests attend the event. So on this trip I paid the balance in full, expecting to get a chunk of change $$$ in return. A little more than a week before the wedding, I called to cancel some items, I didn’t have all the extra guests attending. I asked if I needed to come in in person or if I could get my refund by canceling items over the phone. I was told«We don’t do that» The woman on the phone explained that they do not give refunds at all, just a store credit.(Store credit does me no good, as I don’t live in the area and won’t be needing anything they sell). They told me I have a year to use the store credit. After explaining that I was told I could get a refund her response was just«sorry, no» I gave up on this and decided to use the money to add a few extras to my wedding. They were very accommodating and were able to add an archway, a couple food tables and a couple tablecloths to my list of rentals. It was helpful that they were able to add things just a week before a June wedding. They deliver rentals on the day before the event and pick them up the day after.(except for me they waited til Monday because they are closed on Friday). The WORST part of all of this come next. They have four-hour delivery and pick-up windows. I told them they could deliver any time Friday morning, but I had to have the rentals absolutely no later that 11am. Any time from 8 – 11 would be fine. They wrote down«10−11am-no later» on the work order. I would have a group of people to set up before the rehearsal, leaving time to run last minute errands etc. Once I got to the location at 10am I received a phone call saying they would be late and to expect them around 1pm, maybe before. This means I was stuck at the site with my helpers with nothing to do. Around 12:30 I called to see if they were on track, the front desk tried calling the delivery driver, no luck. Around 1:15 she called me back to say the driver was delayed and was on his lunch break and wouldn’t make it until 2:30. So this is 3.5 hours after the time I absolutely needed to have them. They finally got their at 3pm, during the rehearsal. We had to stop the rehearsal to explain were everything went and to get the work order. Rather than being able to set up in the morning when it was cooler, we had to set up in the heat of the day.(Think central valley out door summer wedding). We were all so exhausted from spending the entire day waiting around for the rentals, we also ended up having to forgo some of our wedding errands becasue of how The Party Connection wasted our time. The delivery guys were nice and professional. Unloaded quickly and seemed to feel bad for being so behind schedule. I received no discount or apology from the store for their lateness. Hopefully if you go with their services it will work out, but it’s safe to say that I would not recommend this business, or go back if I ever needed similar services.
