so bland! I love a good tangy tzatziki sauce, they were not hitting the mark, had a gyro, so very boring. have not been back, step it up Gyros and more!

This is by far the best Mediterranean place around. The owners are so sweet as well. Delicious hummus and salads. I haven’t tried too many places but for sure the best!

My husband and I both ordered the Falafel and it was delish. We will definitely stop here every year when en route to Yosemite! It appears to be a family owned and operated business too and who wouldn’t want to support that.

Stopped in for lunch– HUNGRY. Asked the owner what the difference between the super gyro and gyro was and he said the super had more meat. Super it is! He wasn’t kidding, there was a ton of meat. It was delicious– juicy meat, fresh veggies, creamy tzatziki(just the right amount, not drowned like some places), and crispy tender flat bread… really THE best gyro I’ve ever had and this is after trying many, many good bay area Greek and Mediterranean places. Service was friendly and fast despite being packed during lunch. The only seats left were at the bar. Not a problem, bar stools were comfy and not too crowded together. Being that I was at the bar, I could overhear the owner interact with all the customers. He was the same, super-friendly, no matter who entered– some were old friends/customers and others first comers like me. Can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu!

I had their classic gyro sandwich with a side salad and hummus. Their food is really good and so is their pita bread. You need to try their spicy sauce it compliments the gyro sandwich(;

Went there for the first time on the insistence of my brother First of all, the place is dirty .The glasses at the bar are super dusty. Disgusting. The owner is very rude he tries to be friendly by keep on saying«ok my friend ok my friend“then rips you off. the food. I ordered the chicken kabob, it came with rice and salad. The chicken was way too dry. I saw them microwaving the rice. Needless to say I won’t be coming back, i will recommend the kabob truck on east canal drive much better food and good value for the money you spend this place is a rip off and not the authentic food

I drive over 30 minutes to come eat here! My boyfriend and I will arrange our days or meet up to eat at Solomon’s(owner). Our food is always fresh! The service is friendly and you can tell its family ran. I order the chicken gyro and my boyfriend the Philly gyro. You are left filling full and satisfied!

Delicious! I live in LA and this restaurant blows all the SoCal Mediterranean restaurants out of the water. They have a large variety of gyros as well. And the service was perfect, quick and easy, my food took only a few minutes. Best Mediterranean in California.

Friendly customer service, speedy service and amazing food. Came in with a friend during the lunch hour. It was mildly busy, but we got our food within minutes of ordering and sitting down. We ordered a Baba Ghanoush to start with and I got a classic gyro for lunch. Both were so yummy!!! Come if you’re in the area. Totally worth it

I used to frequent Gyros and More a few years ago, before I moved out of town. I recently moved back after a couple of years and was excited to return to this place. To my dismay, Gyros and More seems to have gone downhill. Cucumber, or tzaziki sauce is now made from sour cream, instead of the traditional Greek style yogurt-yuck!!! Nowhere in Eastern Cuisine does a recipe call for sour cream. One thing I take pride in, being Middle Eastern myself, is our style of rice. The rice I was served here was flavorless and dry-my one year old daughter kept spitting it out! And she loves rice! They also got rid of the Assyrian tea and replaced it with what tastes like Lipton tea. I’m disappointed to say the least. I will not be going back. In their favor, my chicken gyro was decent, minus the sour cream disguised as tzaziki sauce. Booooo

Today I was in the mood for something besides another gyro. So I ordered the Koobideh Kabob, two seasoned ground beef skewers with salad and saffron rice. The salad is made from Iceberg & Romaine Lettuce, Red Onions, Tomatoes, Cucumber, Kalamata Olives, with the dressing on the side. I liked the cucumbers and loved the olives. I like olives in general, but these Kalamata Olives were really, really tasty. The kabobs were excellent. Tender and meaty, they went well with the saffron rice. I managed to eat all the rice while polishing off just the first kabob. I took the other kabob home for dinner. I think a few of my dining companions were looking at my plate enviously. Service was excellent as usual. Solomon is always very nice and welcoming, which is among the many reasons why I come to Gyros & More again and again.

This is the first time trying a gyro. I got the grilled chicken(healthier choice) gyros with the meal of fries and salad. The food was Absolutely amazing. The only thing i regret doing is putting what i think was the salad dressing all over my salad. The dressing was sour and the pieces of what i thought was chicken, taste nasty. Maybe I’m not used to that salad dressing but before you even pour it on ur salad. Make sure you taste it, it comes in a little cup aside. Besides that. Food was delicious and service was wonderful. Very nice people.

My friend ordered the wrong item and wanted to change it, but the lady who served us our food got angry and said she wasn’t going to take the food back. I understand it’s a hassle, but we are paying customers and we are regulars here. We were willing to pay for the new item we wanted, but she stormed off on us. I work in the restaurant business so I understand it can get frustrating and stressful at times, but when you have paying customers that ask politely to change an item then you should be listening to what they want instead of getting angry and being rude. Not going to be coming back anymore.

It’s difficult to find good gyros and souvlaki, especially having lived in Philly with so many Greeks offering good food in so many places. Previously, my experience in Turlock has been limited. It seems to me that I got a slice of pizza at Costco. This time, I tried to look for something interesting. This place appeared to be across the street from where I was and I hadn’t had gyros for months. Parking was a mess with cars going every which way. I decided to park far from the maddening crowd – or at least, further from the restaurants – better to have a car hit me than to hit my car. It was easy to spot this place from the parking lot and from the road. Inside, past the snooty lady giving me a dirty look, I was greeted by a friendly gentleman. Since this was my first experience there, I took a moment and selected a gyros – with a «g» sound this time instead of a «y» sound.(No, no, not a ggros instead of a gyros!) When I mentioned that I wanted fries, he mentioned the combo with fries and a soda for $ 7.95. That’s as good as a price in a mall, and surprising given the upscale look of the place. I didn’t know the way things worked, so I took my change and receipt and sat down at one of the handsome, expandable, folding tables. In a minute or so, he approached me with a drink glass. It was a little bit of a wait, but someone else brought the plate to the table, and asked me politely if I needed anything else. As I picked up the gyros, I noticed something problematic – the wrapping. It seemed as though there was a box of aluminum foil used, and it wasn’t wrapped in such a way as to keep the gyros together. You see, there is a way to wrap in a conical(cone) way, so that you just need to peel away the wrapper to get to the food and you never lose your grip on the ingredients. It’s handy and tidy. In any case, there was plenty of meat(spiced beef, no lamb, I think), lettuce, tzatziki(cucumber) sauce, onion, and good tomato slices, but no feta cheese. It was a good serving, especially for the price. Given the taste, I bet their salads are good also. I was pleased with everything, although this was a good gyros and fries but not great enough to have me driving to the restaurant just for that. I have a feeling that you won’t find a friendlier place in Turlock.

Great small restaurant that is very convenient to get too. I have eaten a few gyros and theirs was pretty flavorful. Soft pitas, crunchy lettuce, perfect yogurt sauce. Their saffron rice and salad combo, get gotta town! Fresh and oh so good. My favorite dessert is baklava but theirs was an obvious pass just by looking at it. So much food. I took half home!

The food here is absolutely delicious and the staff are great! I love coming here with my boyfriend for an afternoon snack or lunch or dinner. The hummus is so fresh and yummy with lots of garlic. I love the mixed meat gyro that comes with beef and lamb. The plates are huge with a giant salad. Be sure to try everything on the menu, you won’t be disappointed!
