Dr. Bonander was born and raised in Turlock, California. She graduated from North Park University in Chicago, Illinois and pursued optometry by Illinois College of Optometry. Dr. Bonander has been in private family practice in the area for over 30 years. She is excited to build and grow a new practice with her daughter Joyce.

This office is beautiful. As you walk in the staff greets you right away with a friendly smile. The assistant is very helpful and explains everything she is doing. Dr Ibanez she is just so nice and gentle. Everything I was expecting to hear, I heard, but she helped me understand more. Their lines of frames are gorgeous and not high priced, lots of options to go with. I highly recommended Dr Ibanez from Generations Family Optometry. Oh and cant wait to get my beautiful glasses. Thanks Dr Ibanez!!!

I love going to Dr. Joyce. She is extremely helpful and friendly and goes out of her way to answer any questions. I feel like she really cares about my eye health. And the staff is so sweet here! Never an attitude from anyone. Not once!

Dr. Joyce Ibañes was great. Very friendly, explained everything thoroughly, and was very professional. I was hesitant because I have always had the same Dr who recently retired but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendlyand helpful. They have a good selection on frames and many styles to choose from as well. The only downside was the wait to get an appointment for me was over a month, so book early. I guess quality service books up fast.
