Fire Temple

Simply pathetic… No reason I should have to wait 20 minutes when there are 5 people in the establishment!!! This will be my LAST visit to this piss poor excuse of a business!!!

I loved the fact that this place wasn’t overly crowded on a late Saturday night. The place had some good music playing and wasn’t too smokey inside. We were quickly seated after ordering two different flavors of hookah. We had a pineapple and a mint one. Both flavors were pretty decent, with the mint one being my favorite one of the night. What makes this place stand out from other hookah places is that they also serve some drinks. They have a few teas and coffee available. The place is laid back, spacious and pretty chill. The décor is a bit different and doesn’t seem to really go with the theme/​flow of the place. Maybe if it was a bit more modern rather than just some random painting it would be cool. The staff came around to make sure we were doing ok and change our coals here and there but sadly I wasn’t able to hear half the things she would say to us.

After having the worst experience of my hookah life at XHale, we decided to try Fire Temple and let me say… We never ever went back to XHale. This place had amazing customer service and the price was decent. The music isn’t too loud and the hookah is great. The only weird thing about this venue is the center of the room is a large space with nothing in it. The building is poorly utilized in that sense, and the décor is a little off but that’s nothing they can’t improve on.

This place is by far, one of the best places to hang out at! They have an amazing customer service, the owner and employee’s are very friendly! They have a lot of hookah flavors! They also have teas, my favorite is the Arabian tea! Give this place a try, you will not regret it!

This place is amazing! its very chill and relaxing the co workers here are super friendly give you the best customer service! they have lots of hookah flavors to choose from and also use KM hookahs!
this place is very clean its got nice art work on the walls which is pretty cool! and they also have outdoor seating for the people who prefer smoking outdoors.

Pretty cool place to just chill music isn’t to loud and the environment is very chill and relaxed plenty of seating in and out I would like a separate bathrooms for each gender rather then sharing let’s be honest some smells need to stay In the genders bathrooms both guys and girls

This place is my go to place to chill at in Turlock. Since Turlock is surely lacking on downtown scene for young people, it’s nice to have a place around here that has a fun night life vibe. Fire Temple has a lot of shisha flavors to choose from and plenty of (non-​alcoholic) drinks. The guys are cool for the most part, some of them have a tendency to talk down to you as if you have never smoked hookah in your life. I for one love hookah and I know what flavors I like already, and one dude constantly tries to push the flavors he’s trying to get rid of each time I go there and see him. A little annoying but whatever, it’s still a good time. They big screen projector is cool and they have all kinds of music playing from Middle Eastern tunes, to Hip-​Hop, to Electronic & Techno (although I would love for them to play less techno and more hip hop).

They NOW have:
–New tall hookahs!!! Hits very well.
–Huge projector playing music videos.
— And NOW a gated out door area!!!
Ok here is the review. I have to be short with it because i can go on for days and days.
Service is awesome. no doubt. Friendly and will share some cultural information if your privy.
Hookah is the best i have ever had. They us all natural coconut shell coals and the best tobacco. very clean smoke. Very busy when school is in so call ahead for seats.
Great place to hang out. Very good scene and very friendly. You meet a lot of people there who aren’t afraid to talk with you if you are friendly to you. Great environment.

The guys working here have a good sense of humor. They’re all pretty attentive. The price is okay and the hookah’s always good. I wish they’d have something going on in the center of the room instead of all the couch things lined up against the walls with nothing to look at in the middle. My friends and I love the convenience of this place since it is so close to campus. I’d recommend some better music… Sometimes it’s okay but other times, that makes me lightheaded instead of hookah lol.

Someone mentioned 21 as the age but you actually have to be 18 to go into a hookah bar. Although the walls are funky and not so consistent as far as designs, the hookah is average, price is affordable, and the people always attend to you quickly. They will ensure your charcoal gets changed, you have your tea with your sugar, etc. I would definitely recommend this place.

Great, comfy atmosphere. Owner was especially nice! Stayed open 15min longer so we could get one more hookah fix. Super nice to give us white people some advice on the art of hookah-​ing. Nice array of decorations, good lighting, knowledgeable owners, wide range of music. :) Wish they sold alcohol, but he’s looking into it. Overall very nice, laid back chill time. Perfect Sunday night. :)

The Fire Temple is one of few hang out places in town. If you’re not yet 21 and Starbucks is getting to be a tired repetition, then the Fire Temple is a good place to hang. This is the only hookah bar in Turlock providing people a local hang out place, a good alternative to driving to Modesto. People that run Fire Temple are friendly and the music there is off the hook. Mix of international, hip hop, rai, Persian, etc music always keeps the beat moving. The exotic hookah flavors and great tasting teas keep you coming back for more to try other flavors. You can mix any and all flavors creating you own specialty hookah flavor for the night.
