History

Established in 1999.

The history of Gibens Creative Group began in 1999 as the web department of Redmagnet, Inc. In 2004 the web department expanded into Redmagnet’s Creative Media Department, providing additional services such as logo and print production. Over the next three years, Redmagnet Creative Media continued to increase its staff bringing in additional talent and experience to the company.

Responding to this growth and recognizing client needs, Gibens Creative Group was established in order to offer complete Integrated Design Concepts including: identity and branding, graphic design, custom website development, e-​commerce solutions, print production, photography, video production, media planning and placement.

Meet the Business Owner

Eric G.

Business Owner

Eric Gibens, president and CEO of Redmagnet, Inc., graduated from the University of Mississippi in 1995. After graduating, Eric moved to Raleigh, NC where he completed a 12-​month Industrial Technology Internship with Textile Clothing Technology Corporation. Eric relocated to Aguascalientes, Mexico to work for Lucky Star de Mexico. While working with Lucky Star de Mexico, Eric worked in the engineering department conducting time studies and rate reviews. He oversaw Lucky Star de Mexico’s second manufacturing facility and served as Customer Relations liaison to Levi Strauss, Eddie Bauer, Old Navy, and Anchor Blue.

Recognizing an opportunity in his hometown of Tupelo, MS, Eric returned to establish Redmagnet, Inc. in May of 1999. By March of 2000, Redmagnet, Inc. acquired four additional companies and consolidated them into a fully integrated IT service provider. Focusing on client needs, Eric expanded the Redmagnet Web Department in 2004 creating Gibens Creative Group.
