Caron Gallery represents a diverse group of talented artists from the state of Mississippi. We aim to provide these artists a showcase, not only for their incredible works of art, but for their personal stories as well. Mississippi’s unique culture gives rise to creativity as seen from the items on our website: Oil, Acrylic and Watercolor Paintings, Mixed Media Works, Drawings, Pottery, Sculptures, Jewelry and everything in between! Remember, you don’t have to be an expert to appreciate art.

History

Established in 2010.

The gallery began as a website with just a few artists in April of 2010. The following August, the gallery opened in an old building in downtown Tupelo. Since then, we have grown to represent over 45 artists with a wide selection of mediums and price points. Our focus the entire time has been Mississippi artists, some of the most talented and creative people in the southeast.

Caron Gallery was in development for over 15 years, if only in her mind. During those years, Kimberly Rose Caron spent her time raising two wonderful teenagers, Emilie and Josh, and supporting the career of her talented husband, Richard. She had been patiently waiting for just the right time to make her dream of opening an art gallery a reality. Kim and her husband supported the local art museum and regional art festivals, but wanted more access to the many talented artists in Mississippi. With such a rich and diverse art community, it was a surprise these artists were not displaying their work on a day-​to-​day basis.

Now in its third year, the gallery is thriving and represents a wide range of artists from various towns and cities in Mississippi. The gallery stays busy installing art in client’s homes, presenting exhibitions of gallery artists, art workshops for the novice and established artists and special events in Downtown Tupelo.
