My co-workers and I stay at Hampton Inns exclusively about 100 nights a year. I really appreciate this one because of the little things they provide that aren’t on the Hampton Inn corporate list for breakfast and more. For instance, there are extras for breakfast like fresh blueberries, blackberries, kiwi, more options at the waffle bar, etc. Also, free bottled water anytime. And if you have laundry, they give free detergent and softener sheets! That’s huge when you’re long term. The only negative is a bad apple in housekeeping and she can be pretty rude and confrontational. My coworker and I were stunned at how rude and abrasive this women was. Especially when my company is spending upwards of $ 20,000.00 on this particular stay. Other than that, this was one of the best Hampton Inns I’ve stayed at in the past 8 years! Absolutely wonderful and clean! Kudos to the wonderful staff!

For Tunkhannock, this hotel is NIIIIIICE. It’s brand new, the building is well-furnished, and it is clean, and the staff are very friendly. They also have a gym, an indoor pool, and a free happy hour during the week! Also, the breakfast here is better than other Hampton Inn’s I’ve stayed at… They even have toppings for the waffles, like candy pieces or chocolate sauce. If I’m ever back for work in this area, I will definitely be staying here again! FYI if you’re staying here, these are the restaurants I would recommend you try in Tunkhannock: Twig’s for dinner/drinks, Season’s for dinner/drinks, Newsies Pizza, or Tioga Bistro for sandwiches.

It is a typical Hampton Inn. Not very close to main attractions in the area. Breakfast is ok.

They have thought of everything to make your stay just a little better. Free hot & good breakfast, snacks(chips & cookies) and coffee out in the lobby throughout the day and granola bars and water bottles in the gym. They also have great customer service, overall very clean and very comfy beds!
