I seriously have to hand it to these guys. If they don’t carry something you’d like, they will order a case. They are always extremely helpful and knowledgeable on their beer and wine selection and always willing to recommend something keeping in mind your comfort level. I have never had a bad experience!

Warren Wine & Spirits is a nice little wine surprise in South Tulsa, located in the otherwise sparsely-populated shopping center on the northwest corner of 81st& Yale(8058 South Yale), just a bit west of the intersection, facing south. Very friendly and helpful staff. The store offers wine discounts on Wednesdays, giving 10% off the purchase of six or more bottles. Also, they have occasional wine tastings, which unfortunately are typically held in the barren space behind the store(also behind all the other stores in the center). But assuming that a wine tasting in what amounts to an alley lot behind the store isn’t offensive to you(why should it be, really?), it can be — and for us always has been — a fun experience. The store has a nice variety of wines and liquors, and they appear very eager to order it in for you, if they don’t have what you’re looking for. Shopping carts are available in the store. It’s a relatively spacious and well-lighted store, and I would recommend it.

They didn’t carry my favorite wine, so the owner special ordered it for me & now keeps it in stock! Great customer service!

In the interest of full disclosure, I am a friend of the owner. Randa is a Certified Master Sommelier. The last time I checked there were only 14 female MS’s, so this is a special deal for Tulsa. The store is new after taking over a location that previously had a liquor store. It is on the end of a strip shopping center so there is plenty of parking and easy access off of 81st street. New ownership, new décor, new staff. I noticed several end caps are made up of different ‘best of” type selections. Like best wines under some dollar amount, Randa’s picks, etc. I didn’t really notice the categories, but I did notice I picked most of my wines from those end caps. The times that I have shopped, there was plenty of people making sure you could find what you wanted and taking your money. Given the history of some of the staff, I would bet that they represent the most extensive experience in wine and spirits in Tulsa. Even though they are new, I was able to find the wine, beer, and spirits that I was looking for. I saw some high end scotches and most of what you see at other liquor stores. There is a significant wine inventory. A lot of people in Tulsa know Randa, so if you have to take a wine to an event and you are able to say that Randa picked it, then you will be quite safe.
