The Eye Institute, established in 1986, is one of the leading eye care centers of Tulsa, Okla. It provides treatment for several eye disorders, such as cataract, glaucoma, diabetic eye, macular degeneration, pink eye, and eye flashes and floaters. The institute specializes in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery, excimer laser surgery using photorefractive keratectomy procedure and LASIK laser treatment. In addition, the Eye Institute offers ambulatory surgery for vitreoretinal diseases, including iritis, retinal abnormalities, and retinal tear and detachment. It alsooperates Institute Optical that was founded in 1986 to provide a variety of frames, optical aides, and wide range of lenses, including multifocal intraocular lenses, restor lenses and ReZoom lenses.
