I usually ignore ratings and give most places a shot to impress me. This was not different as I ignored the 3 stars and I walked over from the hotel. When I got there I grabbed a seat at the bar and looked over the menu and ordered a beer and the Thai burger. The beer was great and the Thai burger was tasty but lacked any heat at all. One of these days I will learn that they make this food for Caucasians and I have to order food intended to be the way it is named. My bartender, cant remember her name, was a disappointment. I make a point when I am at the bar to not sit on my phone and and try to engage the bartender in conversation and the other patrons bellied up as well. She was far more interested in whatever conversation she had going within her phone than with us at the bar. She didn’t lack on keeping drinks fresh and getting food out hot and I like more interaction at the bar.

In town from Dallas. The weight staff here has been nothing but amazing! Great drinks and food. Casey and Ryan were the best. Very friendly and helpful! If I ever come back to Tulsa I’ll be paying this place a visit.

Terrible. I’m so embarrassed I took a colleague here. Service was nonexistent. Took us 25 min to get an order in. I wanted to ask for an additional side when the food arrived, but our server NEVER checked in with us during the meal to see if everything was alright. My colleague got the tortilla soup, which tasted/looked like chili. He wanted to send it back but we couldn’t get anyone over to our table. He ate two bites and told the server about it when she finally returned after we were completely finished with everything else. He said he hated the soup and really didn’t touch it. Surprise, it was still on the bill. As was his wine he never drank because it tasted as if it had been opened for a couple days. Take it off the bill if it’s inedible! Hospitality 101. The salmon was overcooked. The veggies were burnt to a crisp and drenched in salt and oil. The price is ridiculous for what you are paying for. Total mistake to go here. Terrible.

The food was fantastic. The service was horrible. I came into the restaurant/bar around 9:15pm. Not busy at all, just about 5 other people there, consuming two tables, and the bar. I placed my order and went up to my suite to grab my laptop. When I came back, it was probably 15 minutes before I received my dinner salad. It came out the same time another patron received theirs, who came in some time while I had gone to my room. The bartender/waitress was too busy trying to complete a credit card transaction to take care of the patrons. She told the gentlemen, «You can trust me, I wouldn’t screw you». For a classy hotel, this woman is not. I think he was even taken back by her verbiage. She was never attentive to anyone. She was too busy having a conversation with another employee about be «41, single and not putting up with bullshit». Again, very unprofessional. I decided I could get more work completed if I took my dinner upstairs. It had taken nearly 40 minutes to get my dinner. The food was not hot when it was delivered. As I think about it, it probably set back in the kitchen for awhile before she took the time to go get it. She brought to-go boxes, did not offer to send me with a fresh diet coke, and didn’t provide me with any silverware. Which I didn’t inquire about, since I was in a suite, I assumed there would be silverware in the kitchen. I began heating up my dinner, while I got ready for bed. I then realized I had nothing to eat my dinner with… ugh!!! I called down to the front desk, as The Boiler Room was officially closed. They promptly sent up silverware. It would be wonderful if the same customer service that the hotel provides, would also be provided in the restaurant.

Duck was great as well as the beef tenderloin. Definitely would dine here again. Great place for business dinner or date night.

Food = 5 stars Service = negative 5 stars If you come right after you finish eating lunch, you’ll have a fantastic dinner. The Thai burger was the best burger of my life. However, do not come hungry or thirsty. You might die.

Good drinks and good Thai burger with great fries; took a while for food to come on Sunday night but service was friendly. People at table ordered lobster bisque and raved over it.

I was really looking forward to a great dinner given the menu and the food absolutely delivered. However, with maybe 5 tables on a Sunday night it took an hour just to get our food. The table near us drank an entire bottle of wine before even getting their appetizer. It’s unclear where the breakdown in service is but at $ 20+ a plate, you have to expect more than the unapologetic service.

We stayed at the Mayo for our in town«honeymoon». I didn’t mind paying more for what I expected to be amazing food. It was basically what you would get at any other restaurant. Mind you it was a weekend day so, of course, there wasn’t a busy lunch crowd and it was just us and another couple. I like to think it was an off day because The Mayo is so great and for what we got the price was a bit ridiculous. I will say the drinks were definitely cheaper at their bar than the rooftop bar later than that night and the bartender was friendly and personable. Also the wait staff was friendly enough as well.

We almost didn’t come here after reading the reviews but we were glad we did. Located inside in the Mayo Hotel, we ate here on a Sunday and received great service. I ordered the Lobster Bisque to start and my wife ordered the Kale and Sprout salad and both were very good. For main course we both ordered the steak and scallops and again both were very good. We would definitely eat here again next time we are staying in Tulsa.

It was ok. The place was dead at lunch time. Service was good, and had our drink and food order placed quickly. We all got the burger. When the burger came out it was pretty darn good. Got fries with the burger that were awful. Seemed like they were hand made, but none of them were cooked all the way through. Had a soggy oily mass of limp fries with centers that were like eating a raw potato. The inside of the place seemed nice, kind of minimal. There was a piano so maybe this place is hopping with evening hotel crowd.

I received an email blast from the Mayo for their new rooftop brunch last week. I was so excited to check out for I love the Mayo Hotel and think they did an amazing job restoring it to its original beauty. However, the BRUNCH was not as expected. To make the reservation was a challenge. The email said to call or email. I did both. 4 times with no response. I was determined. Finally, a call to the bartender got me the reservation. The view was awesome(however, the dirty/messy chairs didn’t do much for the ambiance). Service was terrible – crazy terrible and we are a very low key family– and food was not good. The hotel has such an opportunity to make it the best Brunch in town with the locale, view, and history of hotel.

The food was edible in this hotel dining spot, but should have been much better given the venue in one of the nicest downtown hotels. We ordered pizza for our main course which really seemed liked a Pillsbury canned crust with decent toppings. There’s too much great competition in this area to not bring your A-game. The salads were decent but not good enough to bring us back.
