Forget asking for extra salsa and chips to go with your order. Stop at QT and pick up a bag of chips and a jar of salsa.!! Stingy stingy stingy

The food is not bad same as other Taco Buenos. When I tried to use a coupon and a military discount… the employees threw a fit. I have used both at many other locations. Finally the manager said for this one time she would do it but said I am not able to ever do it again. This all happening with a huge line behind me. It was embarrassing and very rude.

Welcome to TACOMAL, the Dark Side of Bueno … I asked for no beans in my mexi dip & chips, oh they gave me beans alright shells and shells full of beans! They even sprinkled shredded cheese over them. Either this was an incredibly well executed prank or «no beans» could have been interpreted as «mo beans.» I asked for salsa, they made sure I got a dripping plastic stomach of juice. I had to use a ladle to scoop out my soggy meal of TACOMAL. Really the only thing they didn’t screw up was my drink. No Mo Bueno.

I love Taco Bueno. It is by far the best and freshest Mexican food you can get for the price/speed. Let’s be clear… it is fast food but the business is well designed and has always maintained a superior integrity when it comes to their food(verses Taco Bell, taco cabana, taco mayo etc). I even worked one summer at the Bueno in Stillwater while in college. I can attest to the freshness claim… everything is made in house. All that being said… the Taco Bueno on 11th street is a disgrace. The employees are generally unfriendly and my order is wrong 50% of the time. I have had burritos come apart after taking the wrapper off and tacos crushed at the bottom of the bag… you name it. Every time I try it again thinking the last visit was just a fluke… nope. Trust me, stay away. Drive a few miles to the nearest other Bueno to preserve your mood and love for this great company.

Can I give less than one star? It is fast food, understood, and closest to my house so I try over and over. But this one is bad. Bad vibes to go, and employees are very rough and hateful. Went there Monday 04÷06÷15. Drive thru service was so poor I left without food. I called to complain. Phone answerer said he was the manager but who knows. Wouldn’t let me talk, kept talking over me to say he had bad headsets. Wouldn’t give me the 800 number for corporate. Called the 71st/Memorial store and they refused to give me the 800 number, gave me a(972) area code that was just a voicemail. Left a message Monday night. No one called, I called back on Tuesday evening and spoke to a person who was supposed to send me info to the area manager. That person hasn’t called for 2 days. On Monday the website wouldn’t even work. I can’t eat taco bell meat and this is my only choice. There is a reason they block you from being able to rate them on Facebook. Do not go here. Maybe you can lick scraps off your car tires of food you ran over on the drive. If so, you would still feel more human than paying them money to stare at you, ignore what you say, and just play dumb to you asking a menu questions.

As any other chain type fast food shop, if you’ve been in one Taco Bueno then you’ve been in all of them. The food is ok for what it is and the service is on par with this type of restaurant. I stopped in late and the lobby was busy and the dining room looked a bit rough. The food was ok; it looked like it had been thrown together in its packaging.

I dont get HOW you can really screw up FASTMEXICANFOOD and not only that but act like you don’t want to even work there. This place is close to my office so I went a few times and most of the time the food isn’t fixed right, they can’t wrap a burrito and the tacos are half full. The one thing to top it off was that they actually were fixing food, went back to sweeping(with gloves on) than went BACK to fixing another person’s order as I sat in the drive thru! Needless to say I asked for a refund and went down the street to taco bell where they got it right and were FRIENDLY! Come on management, there are TON’s of great college kids RIGHTACROSSTHESTREETGOOUTANDHIRESOMEOFTHEM over whoever you have now!

Great spot for Tex Mex. As a first time visitor it was a nice surprise after a long day of rolling down highway 44. I really enjoyed my Muchacho, and the salsa bar was a great touch!

As a first time Bueno visitor I would give a solid 4 stars. It was pretty good quick service and the cashiers were nice. It was quite crowded and loud, although I did go during a Friday lunch rush. The food was on a scale of 1 – 10 a solid 8 I love chicken quasadillas and this was much better than Taco Bell. Bueno trabajados taco bueno!

This is the location where I fell in love with Taco Bueno, or as their website says… became a BuenoHead(as cheesy as that is to admit). When you are on the go a lot you have to have a reliable fast food fave and this is mine. Love the Mexi Dips and Chips, Beef Tacos, Bean Burritos, and Chicken Potato Burritos.

Game on, with Taco Bell! I decided to step into the controversy regarded«what’s considered beef?» and trust my bucks with Bueno on this Sunday evening. If you are in this section of the Mexican alphabet, you have already made your move. IMHO bell or bueno is an easy choice, I’ll go with good taco.

Simply put, Taco Bueno is like the underachieving sibling of Taco Bell. Theres not much variety, however, I’ll give them their salsa bar, which is one thing I wish Taco Bell had. However, Taco Bell is now pushing out two new sauces, so Taco Bell for the win.

Maybe it’s because I am from Southern California and have been spoiled with some of the best Mexican food this side of the border. Maybe I just grew up with Taco Bell and that is my closest comparison. I reserved any kind of review until I had been to Taco Bueno several times and each time I am disappointed. The food is just not that good. The beef is way over seasoned. I guess I can say the cheese is OK. I can honestly say that Del Taco is much better than Bueno. I try not to go to a fast food Mexican place very much but if I had to choose I would put Bueno on the bottom of my list. I give Bueno a couple of stars for being open late and being fast. There are better options out there.

4 stars for my first taco bueno experience… It was quite similar to del taco. Good value, good food. Taco Bell is better though.

Lived in Tulsa for a year a long time ago. I still miss Taco Bueno. We only have Taco Bell in NC as a fast food mexican restaurant. Absolutely no comparison between the two. Taco Bueno is more like authentic mexican whereas Taco Bell is an americanized toned down version. Still the best Mexican I’ve ever had was in a little dive in San Antonio. Now that was the real deal.

Taco Bell is better? What are you high? Listen, fresh ingredients. Thats it. Try a few of the following– Beef Potato Burrito Beef Quesadilla Chicken Muchaco These 3 items are better than anything at Bell. Will someone please agree with me?
