I’m a self proclaimed coffee and tea snob, but I was surprisingly impressed with the quality and presentation of my fiancé’s macchiato and my cortado. Both were at the right level of bitterness and did their job of caffeination. I’m eager to try more of their beverages soon.

Yummy coffee. Great atmosphere and friendly servers. Organic coffee and it is yummy! Lots of comfy furniture and even a fireplace for those colder days. Tables for laptop work and patio deleting too. You will love this place. One thing I would change/add… More color on the walls! Take a few colors from your furniture and either pant a wall that color or add some bright artwork to a wall! Especially behind the counter! Maybe blow up your menu on the back wall above the sink and have pics or something. It would add a LOT and for a little money!

I travel to Tulsa for work fairly often. I managed to stop by this place after seeing it on Google. I was very impressed with the people. They were friendly, very knowledgeable, and able to steer me into a cup of coffee I would enjoy. I intend on going back

I work here, all the employees are passionate about real coffee including me. We try hard to bring service and a friendly attitude to the business. Not only is the roasting process a passionate beautiful thing that takes a long time to get just right, but if your looking for burnt Starbucks flavor you won’t get it here. We serve the most premium espresso and coffee with each barista being highly knowledgeable about the region it came from and the art of craft coffee. Come in and enjoy various notes in our coffee between fruity(Ethiopian) and robust citrus(Tanzanian or Colombian) or full body creamy in our Kenya :)

Found this place on Unilocal during a business trip. Reviews were not great, but I did give it try. Ordered their house coffee: nox atra. It was quite bold with a remarkable earthy and herbal taste. I had it black, just to get the full favor of it. I liked it, but probably not for many other people who like mild strength coffee. The barista was friendly and offered me a sample to try. Music was soothing. Décor was quite interesting. The tables and chairs didn’t really match — materials and colors. Anyway, it was still a decent place for me to sit back and relax.

This coffee shop is great during the day. One of the female baristas is sweet as could be and made our visit a very pleasant one. The experience we just had tonight though was absolutely deplorable. The male barista was rude and scowling. We had asked for assistance connecting to the wireless internet seeing as it was giving identical error messages on three devices and we had homework to take care of that evening. He quickly asked someone else if their internet worked, and then shrugged us off without another word. My boyfriend then said for a second time a little while later that the router needed restarted and the barista just walked away. The Mexican hot chocolate was nowhere near the quality of the last one I had there. I’m not a professional coffee taster, but that one had me gagging on the extra overload of cayenne pepper. We almost left as soon as we arrived because of the unwelcoming atmosphere. Not sure if I’ll go back, at least in the evening.

Wow, I feel sad leaving this review. I knew Nordaggios during their heyday and really enjoyed their coffee but today was a whole different experience. Let me back up. This college coffeeshop was a busy hang out just a few years ago with comfy couches, fireplace seating, a classic espresso bar and the smell of coffee. With it being so busy they needed repaint and update some of the furniture. The place was starting to look worse for the wear so when I saw them clearing the place out to remodel I was glad. Months and months later they reopened. This remodel is so disappointing. They exchanged the furniture to very worn vinyl furniture and 70s style tables. Some times that look works but it didn’t here. There’s absolutely nothing on the walls, not even a coffee menu! It’s not cohesive it all. I adked the Brista how long they had been in their new location and he said, «three months». What! The coffee wasn’t as delicious as it used to be either. No «Zing». I won’t be back in that makes me sad.

This is basically my home away from home. I have been a regular at «Nords» for the past 14 years. I am usually here several nights a week. So where do I start? Well first I have to say that they have an excellent Chai Tea Latte and that is usually my go-to drink. I really have enjoyed everything I have had here so no complaints on the drinks. The baristas here are all(for the most part) friendly and willing to engage you in conversation. Nordaggios recently went thru a major remodel… At first things were a little rough I will admit and I wondered if Nords would ever feel the same. Well things are definitely up. They have artwork back up on those previously bare walls and they have brought back one of those couches that all of us regulars have loved over the years. The new furniture is not quite as comfortable but THAT couch… well its just really really comfortable. The new bar is very cool and has lots of interesting coffee«contraptions» on it. My only complaint is the lack of plugins after the remodel. Hopefully that will change. I love going to Nords, the coffee and yes the chai is great! Come by and say«Hi» sometime… just don’t be creepy please.

They just remodeled and made the place look pretty bad, coffee is mediocre, employees typically act like they have had enough sleep. Tolerable.

I viewed another Unilocaler’s post that stated, «this place has gone down hill». I would try to be more polite yet I would still have to agree with the aforementioned statement. My wife and I purchased a Groupon for the coffee shop that read French Pressed Coffee. We joked on the way to get it that they would just give us drip coffee instead.(Very pretentious I know). When we arrived we realized that we were prophets foretelling our own future. The barista immediately poured us drip coffee in place of the french press. No biggie, we were happy to just visit and enjoy some coffee. If you have read any of my other posts you would know I LOVE coffee and consider it to be a vital part of my life. I would imagine that the owner of Nordaggio’s feels the same, he does in fact own a coffee shop. The product being pushed out is not of the same quality I feel it once was. You cannot always expect your hourly help to put there heart and soul into your business as you would but that very well could be the problem. When you step in for coffee you want an experience. That is why people go to Starbucks, you get an experience. You get a strange spelling of your name doodled on the side of your cup, they are friendly and they have an unmistakable atmosphere. When you are in Starbucks you«KNOW» that you are in Starbucks. That is the feel that Nordaggio’s is currently lacking. You aren’t sure what to think or even what you are getting. This local spot needs its identity back. I hear great things about the owner and I know this place can return to its former glory. Room for improvement.

The barista thought it was his job to discuss whether or not killing in moderation is an acceptable course of action. Don’t go here without your headphones in. We had to leave after 10 minutes because the worker was so incredibly annoying. Coffee was great.

Flavorful coffee with a nice selection. Good environment if you looking to work on your studies. Go for the black coffee as it is comparable to some roasters such as café vita or Seattle Coffee works in Seattle.

Nords makes the best lattes. This is not a good place if you’re in a hurry– there’s usually only one person working the register and making the coffee– but it’s worth the wait!

This place continues to outpace other local coffee shops. Their roasted espresso has avid body, huge crema and aromatic undertones. My favorite(also closest to my house)!

So sad this place has declined in quality so badly. I haven’t seen any of the great baristas that inspired my previous review for a long time, in place are people who have no place making coffee, or serving for that matter. Out most recent cappuccinos were a mess, ugly looking with no taste. Bummer. I hope the beans I bought still retain some of the integrity of the café of old, otherwise I’ll have no reason to go back. 9÷12÷15 update. Booming Christian music too loud to block out with headphones. That’s the last straw, I’m giving you up Nordaggios.

I went to Nordaggio’s after buying a Groupon for 5 $ 1 French press coffees and seeing online they roasted their own beans. Boy, was I disappointed! The barista was far from energetic or friendly; he seemed really bored to be there. This place is in a strip mall opposite Oral Roberts University. I’m pretty new to Tulsa, but I guess that should have been my first clue that I wasn’t going to encounter an artsy, eclectic, fun coffee shop like Shades of Brown, Gypsy, or the Phoenix. But the worst part was the coffee itself! I’m not used to doctoring up my drinks until I’ve tried at least one or two sips. I’m not even sure he gave me a true French press coffee. But this little 12 ounce coffee was extremely bitter! Even after stirring in 4 packets of sugar, it was still bitter! I will be contacting Groupon for a refund and not be back. Fortunately Tulsa has some pretty amazing coffee shops elsewhere, including the three places I mentioned above.

Coffee tastes great. The service is bad though. The people who work there weren’t polite. Seems like a place only for college students who come to study, so you have to be super quiet.

Whenever I think of this place a recent Kendrick Lamar verse comes to mind. If Starbucks is Jay-Z. Then Nordaggio’s would be like Drake. You liked him in the role he had. If fit. When he got hype by hipster bs manure reviews and started to believe his own hype. You begin to hate him. That’s how I feel about this place. The over emphasis on cruelty free free trade hipster bs with weak coffee and a little Jesus sprinkled in makes me gag. There are moments of brilliance. There’s espresso and selection of coffee beans is something to be notice. But to use such weak powders and syrups is like using auto-tune and singing«No New Friends» for a chorus and saying I have a hit. If ORU had a real pagan lesbian loving Starbucks Naggie would have been gone a long time ago. In short, crappy selection of open mic artists Poor quality of store brought teas and badly made drinks don’t make you the greatest coffee shop in Tulsa. It makes you like Drake. But your a hipster your probably think that’s a compliment.

I probably spent way too much time and money at this place during my four years as an undergrad at ORU. The lattes are impecable. The BigTrains are expensive and a great way to accomplish the dreaded«Freshmen 15.» A wonderful place to study with consistent wireless access and ample seating, but don’t expect to read anything other than a lit computer screen because they keep the lights pretty low.
