Description

History

Established in 1914.

Our dealership’s history is a long and remarkable one that began in 1914 when brothers Ward and Virgil Eby opened the doors. In 1977 Reba McClanahan, then Reba Duren, purchased the Harley-Davidson dealership from the estate of it’s second owner, Dutch Myers. In 1998, she moved the dealership from it’s 8th & Utica location to a custom-designed, art deco showplace at 48th & Peoria.

Once the move was made to 48th & Peoria, Myers-Duren Harley-Davidson was able to provide its customers with the state’s largest selection of Parts, Accessories, MotorClothes® Apparel, Collectibles, and new and used Harley-Davidson motorcycles. The dealership also focuses on Harley-Davidson motorcycle customization with performance upgrades, fit, and of course, looks!

Reba’s motto when she purchased the dealership in 1977 was to treat customers the way she wanted to be treated. Her motto still stands true. Our goal is to provide an exceptional customer experience.
