Specialties
Our shop specializes in handmade goods. We currently carry over 80 independent, handmade artists, so when you shop at made, you’re supporting small business owners throughout Tulsa, Oklahoma and the United States.
History
Established in 2012.
made: The Indie Emporium Shop was born out of a desire to promote the handmade movement. Our event, Indie Emporium, started in 2007 and continued to grow. As we grew, attendees asked if there was anywhere in town to shop year round that shared our aesthetic. In 2011, we were invited by Tulsa’s Young Professionals to set up shop at StreetCred/Polishing the Pearl. Christine Sharp-Crowe, shop girl and event organizer, fell in love with running a store. In 2012, we participated in the Deco District Christmas pop-up shops and just never left.

Business Owner
Christine Sharp-Crowe is a printmaker and artist who founded weather&noise, Indie Emporium, Made: The Indie Emporium Shop and the Workshop Tulsa and holds a BFA in Interior Design and Architecture.
Christine is usually playing shopgirl at made, working in her studio at home, or dreaming up space designs and events. The rest of her time is spent reading design blogs, obsessively browsing textiles online, baking, discovering new artists on etsy, traveling to indie craft events, hanging out with her little buddy Tucker and her dashing husband Thom, or spending time with her crafty make: Tulsa friends. It’s a sweet DIY kind of life she leads.
