Stan Monroe has been practicing law in Oklahoma for more than thirty years. He was admitted to the Bar in 1978 after graduating from the University of Tulsa College of Law (J.D., with honors, 1978) and the University of Oklahoma (B.A., 1975).

Mr. Monroe became a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers in 2010. This honor is only bestowed on the top 1% of practicing lawyers, with 15 years or more of experience, in each jurisdiction. Mr. Monroe was also named the 2011 Oklahoma Bar Association Criminal Defense Lawyer of the Year.

Mr. Monroe has achieved an A/​V rating (the highest rating for legal ability by Martindale-​Hubbell) and is listed in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers for Criminal Trial Practice.
