Beware the lady with the brown hair! All the goodies at Katy’s Pantry are great. I’ve tried a few pies and cakes, as well as a sugar cookie that was adorable and tasty. It is a very cute store and the location(The Farm) is really convenient. The first time I went in I had a great experience, the woman at the counter was very nice and helpful. However, the last time I went I was really put off. A woman who, I am assuming is the manager, was very rude and was actually yelling at one of her employees. She also did not want me to have my drink before my food was ready to go(and I was under the impression the customer is always right). I found this very unprofessional and it made me very uncomfortable. It is such a shame that a great little place like this has a problem that so commonly derails businesses. I may stop by again, and hope the lady with the brown hair isn’t there because the food is great!

The best desert in Tulsa! They have very friendly staff, and it is so clean in there. Their chocolate cream pie is by far the best that I’ve ever had. I tried the Turkey Club on the pantry bread and it was delicious! I always recommend them to everyone!

I was thrilled when I found out Katy’s Pantry was opening a Tulsa location(original in Enid, OK) and my first visit did not disappoint! The vibe is comfortable, homey, and generally adorable. Right now, the restaurant is set up predominantly for carry-out or you can dine-in casually at a great picnic table inside or on the patio. I sampled the potato soup with pantry bread — creamy, hearty and tons of flavor without being too heavy — and the ham and cheese quiche with side salad. The crust on the quiche was perfect and I loved that the ham was in nice, bigger chunks. Great texture to the eggs as well. As a bonus, the side salad is really hearty — homemade croutons, broccoli, radishes, tomatoes, cheese, cucumbers, etc. — and is a generous portion to nicely accompany your quiche. Of course, I had to pick up iced sugar cookies to bring back to the office for my team. They are the absolute best sugar cookies! Great flavor and texture and available in a variety of shapes and designs. All of their pies and cakes are wonderful too — available whole and by the slice! I can’t say enough about the quality and flavor of everything at Katy’s and I can’t wait to see it be a booming success in Tulsa. As they just opened(12⁄7), it may take a couple of weeks for them to really get in a groove as far as service time, etc. goes but everyone is so sweet and the food is absolutely worth the little bit of patience they might need in the beginning.
