History

Established in 1985.

Since 1985, Doby Franklin has been fulfilling his passion for woodworking and craftsmanship through his company. Following a successful career with the world’s largest lumber and plywood company, Doby took his love for working with wood into various fields of construction, carpentry and cabinetry. However, after building everything from bus barns to bookshelves, Doby realized that his greatest passion was developing outdoor living environments. Through these projects, Doby is able to combine the beauty of natural landscapes with the art and craftsmanship of uniquely-​designed structures that merge both form and function.

Doby and his associates realize the difference between craftsmen and contractors. They further understand that most homeowners are looking for more than just a deck, patio cover or arbor.
