Established in 1980.

The Elephant Run is Tulsa’s premier club to party and have fun. We have been bringing great entertainment to Tulsa for over 40 years. We always bring you the best live concerts & entertainment in the Tulsa area. At the Elephant Run Club we have something for you 7 nights a week. From our live concerts, karaōke, poker, happy hour or one of our awesome parties, we will keep you entertained.

Very attentive and friendly staff. A little strange to have to pre-​pay when ordering food if paying cash but not a big deal I guess. Very nice and well maintained bar. Food was ummm ok at best. Only serious complaint is how long it took for a couple of simple items to get to our table. Staff checked in frequently to let us know they were working on it.
Will go back again if in the area and only for drinks and socializing.

This bar has been part of the Tulsa scene since at least the early ‘80s. You go here for cheap booze, local live bands, and to watch people under the influence of the same. Clientele will range from 20-​something hipsters to itinerant construction workers to cougars on the prowl and middle aged couples trying to stay young. Depending on the night, smoke level can be heavy or light. If it’s busy, keep it simple — the bartender I dealt with recently can’t tell a call bottle from a well bottle and is liable to stick a lime in any beer she opens.

Overall mellow bar with diverse age group. I wouldn’t classify it has a nightlife hotspot, maybe this is because it’s in a hotel. But it is a good place to hangout with friends, play pool, sing karaōke, or have a few drinks because it’s not too loud.
The Thursday night karaōke is fun to sing a few times as there is not usually a very large crowd waiting in line to sing.
Recommended for small to large groups looking for a place where they can hangout on a reasonably priced tab.

Let me say this first. Not every bar in Tulsa or the rest of the world is targeted to the 20-​something demographic. Guess what? People in the 40’s, 50’s and older still like to go out and grab a drink and, God forbid, meet other people, socialize, or just have a good time.
It is what it is. It’s got it’s regulars, the Karakoe crowd, those who come to take advantage of happy hour and those who come to get drunk. It’s clean, safe and reasonable on price.
Just as a fifty year old would be out of place at Rehab or Pink, folks who still get ID“ed would probably not find this to be their idea place.

Home of the MILF and the white man overbite. If your mom tells you that she was at the Elephant Run with her girlfriends over the weekend, prepare to be mortified.
Located in the fabulous Trade Winds Central hotel just off I-​44 (I can’t make this up). The Elephant Run is the premier Tulsa dance club for the geriatric set and twenty-​somethings doing a little recreational slumming.
If you stay late enough you can actually smell the desperation and Ben-​Gay. You’ll probably be hit on by your 8th grade math teacher as well. It’s all very disturbing.
Still, the Elephant Run is a bit of a Tulsa tradition and if you like to people watch, this place is better than the smoked turkey leg line at the state fair.
