Coney Island

If we could give this place a negative star rating it would be -****. We should have checked Unilocal first. This is not a real Coney I-​Lander. Our mistake for not reading the sign Coney Islander. The chili on the coneys taste like red tomato sauce and the buns had flour on the outside. It was gross … Save your money and take drive to the real «Coney I-​Lander». Don’t be fooled. They try to play it off like the real deal. But it’s SO NOT !!!

For 6 bucks, I tried the 3 coney deal. It comes with 3 hot dogs (with chili, cheese, onions and mustard), large drink (20oz) and a small bag of chips.
The hot dogs were really small in thickness and length. The buns were chewy like they had been microwaved. They really lacked flavor. My wife, who got the two dog deal, got onions on hers and all she could taste was onions. The bags of chip were the really small bags of chips and the large soda is a 20oz soda which also seemed kind of small for the price. The real slap in the face was that they charge for refills on their «large» soda. I really don’t get that. Who still charges for refills at a restaurant?
The only bright points for me were that the cashier was friendly and that they served Pepsi products which seems to be rare these days.
All in all I just can’t recommend this place.
