The Hatch Green salsa is so delicious. I tried Chuy’s a couple of times and didn’t care for it… or so I thought. I found this salsa by trying the Steak burrito!

Went in about 730 and was able to get a table without having to wait. Our server was Linda and she was friendly and took good care of us. I had the Chile Rellenos, one shrimp and one sirloin. Our food was served quickly and to order. Everything tasted good. We were going to Chuy’s basically weekly because my girlfriend loves it so much, but we had a couple bad experiences in a row and that turned us off for awhile. I am hopeful that whatever issues have been worked out because this was our best visit in a long time.

Unreal, this place has managed to improve Mexican food! I’m from out of town, so the first thing I did was come here to order the Elvis Fried Chicken. Everything about it was amazing and delicious. I wish there was a location closer to where I live in Michigan. Can’t wait to go back again. Only thing I don’t like is the packaging fee that is charged for takeout. I leave a small tip for takeout, that’s not acceptable. No other restaurant does it.

First visit to Chuy’s, and I was very pleased. Recently I have traveled to San Antonio and Albuquerque, and finally I encountered/found some awesome Tex Mex food! I had the shrimp rellenos and chicken enchiladas w the chick boom sauce – a delightful Micheal P. was my waiter.

They have the best queso and jalepeno ranch around! You do have to pay for it, but don’t make the mistake of not ordering it. Also, the restaurant has the coolest decorations around! I don’t know where they found all of those.

Excellent Mexican food! I have not tried anything like it. Fresh salsa, great enchiladas and wonderful retried beans. I highly recommend.

Not a bad place to eat. the service was one the point… the food was ok, I had better at a few places… the drinks were a bit over priced… a bit watered down… other then that it was clean and pricy.

Almost everyone I know has been to Chuy’s and after my first visit, I can now see why. Chuy’s is a pretty typical Tex-Mex chain with a few cool twists. For starters, it is loaded with decorations and flair on the walls and ceiling. There is a very fun, lighthearted atmosphere. It strangely reminds me of Chotchkie’s from Office Space. I also liked the chip bar, located in the back of a classic car. Load up on chips and salsa and then ask your waiter to bring the jalapeño dip — it tastes like a spicy ranch and is excellent! Because I loaded up on chips and jalapeño dip, I didn’t want a big meal to follow. I shared a watermelon frozen margarita and had the chicken tortilla soup. The margarita did taste like watermelon(which is an unusual margarita flavor) but was very watery. There are much better margaritas at El Guapo. Chicken tortilla soup is traditionally made with chicken broth, as was this one, but this version was a little too watery. It was tasty, but I did feel like I was drinking warm chicken broth with Tex-Mex ingredients floating in it. I’m glad I ordered it though, because I saw other people’s entrees and they were enormous.(I sampled someone’s burrito and it was good but nothing special.) Finally, their selection of beers was limited. I had a Pacifico, which has a lighter color and flavor. Overall, Chuy’s is like most other Tex-Mex chains but I still recommend it. This is a solid place to visit with some friends and have a good time.

The Stuffed Avocados they serve on Thursdays are delicious! Any other day of the week, I recommend the«Chicka-Chicka Boom Boom» enchiladas! Chuy’s never disappoints!

This is one of my daughter-in-laws favorite restaurants and we eat here frequently. We enjoy all of the picante sauces with the chips. The food preparation, presentation, and flavors are always good. We always have had good service. I enjoy eating at this Chuy’s and will return.

Ok, they must have changed their salsa formula when went there again recently, now things are MUCH better than how they were. Boom boom sauce is good on pretty much everything. Salsas very addicting and fresh.

This is the best TrxMex in Tulsa! The waitstaff is very professional, and very knowledgeable about the items on the menu. My favorite item to order is the Elvis Chicken, it is wonderful! They have five or six different types of salsa to chose from, so they have something for everybody. The Decour on the inside is very eclectic! There are about four or five different dining rooms, and each one has a different theme. I swear there must be 1000 pictures hanging on the wall in this place! So I always discover something new when I dine there.

Tonight we had dinner at chuys and our server was Wendy. She was awesome and very nice. The creamy ranch sauce to dip the chips in is my personal favorite. I had the pork tacos… They were a little spicy but still very good… I also had the swirl margarita which on a hot day you could give 10 stars. We enjoyed our Sunday night dinner here.

Tonight we had the pleasure of eating at Chuy’s on my last night in town. Our server Wendy was great. The service was quick and we had a really great time. The Sunday night pork tacos were suggested to us, as they are only served on Sunday nights, but they weren’t our favorite. They seemed dry and too spicy. Other than that my chicken burrito was fantastic and our margaritas could not have been better. Always have been a proud lover of Chuy’s, I mean it did originate in Austin, Texas!

So many reasons I love Chuy’s: 1. Reasonable prices 2. Large portions(hubby and I split with food left over) 3. The chicken has NO gristle or fat. 4. Blue corn tortillas 5. Hatch green chile 6. The chicka-boom-boom sauce 7. Great service. We always have a complicated order and they are always super accommodating. 8. The salsa is fresh and simple. 9. The chips are light and thin. 10. They had a changing stall in the men’s room! This was the first time we’ve been to a restaurant where this has been the case.

Excellent Chips and Salsa! True test. Get the white sauce to dip your chips. Yum! This is a sauce which comes on a bunch of the incredible dishes available. Anything with Chili Con Carne on it is greatness. Fish Tacos yum! Enchiladas… the list can go on. Enjoy and Salute. Abuelos is another no miss tex mex choice

The staff is friendly, the facility is nice enough, but the menu just didn’t have anything that looked good for me to eat. Nothing stood out as I must try this. I had some beers, the green chili salsa which was very good, but then left because of the menu. They may meet the niche for some people, but not those that are interested in Mexican or Tex Mex.

This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in the Tulsa area. There’s usually a wait but we think it’s definitely worth it. If it’s M-F they have chips, queso and salsa as free appetizers during happy hour. We also love sitting on the patio when the weather is nice. Everything we’ve tried we absolutely love! My fav is the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom.

It’s been a bit of a quest of mine to find solid tex-mex food near home. And while I’ve certainly found some great options, I keep going back to the drawing board, looking for more options. Chuy’s makes me ask the age-old question… How do I combine differing scores for food and service? Chuy’s had passable food that I wouldn’t mind eating again. Nothing amazing to write home about. The service however is exactly what many here have already expressed: borderline rude and rushed. I didn’t get a chance to speak to a manager, but after getting a little better at speaking up about my negative experiences eating out, I think this would have been a prime example of a time I needed to. I think service has a few different components. First, attention to detail can be important. Maybe it’s my American showing, but not once was anyone in my party given a refill. When our food came out, my glass was bone dry and others weren’t doing much better. Further adding to frustrations, I had sour cream(sauce?) on my order and I can’t stand sour cream. I mentioned this to the person who brought out our food(not our server) and they said they’d check and be right back. I felt guilty as the rest of the party waited to eat(well, just a bit) before it became clear nobody was coming. Report Card: Food… B+ Service… D– In the end, I’m left with«meh». I will say that I noticed we weren’t charged for our drinks, which maybe helped me feel better about lacking refills. Still, I’d have preferred to pay and have the beverage.
