Americas Best Value Inn, Tulsa Airport

So I’m staying in this dump as we speak or should I say as you read lol ok so today is 10/​18/​2013 2:19 am and I can’t sleep because this place has bed bugs ! Let me start from the beginning. I checked in yesterday around 6ish and I am only staying for the night. The place looks old and rundown kinda like a place where tutu’s (prostitutes) hang although, i don’t believe I seen any. Initially the room looked clean, but it needs a lot of basic updates. The mini fridge doesn’t work and had old spoiled milk in it. I dropped my luggage off and headed out for dinner. When I returned I noticed my suit case was slightly opened. Yet it was still standing up right like I left it. Thank god I took my iPad and camera with me. Little asshole thieves didn’t catch me! Maybe I should make sure all my undies are there they may be panty thieves lol. As I’m sitting here typing this I see little blood stains on the pillow cases. They look very similar to the spots left after killing the bed bugs. I will post pictures of the beg bug I caught sucking my blood. I killed the lil vampire! I will also post a pic of the stains. My picture will be a collage so you’ll know it’s from me ! My advice is stay away from this dump! if you go up the street by sonics there are more motels. don’t know if they’re better or not but hopefully they won’t have bed bugs and thieves ! I Will be asking for compensation !

Good place to sleep on a cross country trip. We had to stop here after driving from NM on route to Cecil WI, knowing we just needed sleep and shower. The female desk clerk was friendly and competent. Room was adequate for the money ($ 56.75), however the rug was heavily stained. I mentioned to clerk next morning we just bought a Bissel rug cleaner for cheap at Wal-​mart for Christmas, and they may want to investigate same. He merely nodded. We were much too tired to switch rooms, however, no way we would have stayed in room had we needed to be there longer. Continental breakfast included in rack rate the next morning was a nice touch and appreciated. They should also invest in coffee makers in the room for early risers, free WiFi also much appreciated.

It was pretty loud when we stayed here. If you have a lot of belongings, be sure to put them in the hotel room. The place can be intimidating. Otherwise, this place is decent if you just need a play to lay your head. We got there late and left early so the experience is minimal.
However, I rated this well because I dropped my wedding ring there and could not get it back due to a 2.5 hour drive for a wedding which I didn’t want to miss. It would’ve made the whole trip meaningless. The owner called me about 1 hour into my drive and the end result was that he would hold it for me until I came back to town (2 days later). I went back there as soon as I can and the owner delivered! I thanked him and went on my way.

After reading some reviews I was a bit weary, but it was cheap 39.99 for the night. The low price and high rating on
pulled me here. This hotel is 12^th in the area, and is the best rated «cheap» hotel, and is actually rated better then a lot of $ 100+ hotels. Well I can see why, its clean, well taken care of, and very fresh over all. The woman who has night duty is very nice, and quickly checked us in. They have breakfast, which most cheaper hotels don’t offer, and after the horror stories of other hotels in the area the ABVH seems like an oasis in a sea of bug infested, nasty, cheap-​o motels.

If you value high speed wifi this is not the place for you. other than that its clean and a good price

I love this place! After riffling through piles of reviews for more expensive hotels in Tulsa that all had bedbugs, I found ABV. It’s super cheap. The building is old-​ish and a bit run down, but ultimately kept pretty clean. The rooms have TV, free wi-​fi, microwave and mini-​fridge, and a full bathroom (okay, a sink in one room and a toilet and tub in another). The air conditioning is a big noisy unit that fights the Tulsa heat wonderfully. The front desk is staffed by friendly Indian guys.
The only downside: the room could be vacuumed a bit better. And one of the two double beds in my room had a sheet that had seen better days — it had been washed, but was full of old stains from what looked like footprints, bloody pimples, and ballpoint pens. I slept in the other bed.
Otherwise, what a great little place to crash. It’s not luxurious but the beds are ridiculously comfortable and the place is quiet. And NO BEDBUGS. Tulsa, what is wrong with you? I will come back here if I come to Tulsa again.
ETA: the rest of my stay was great too. With the A/​C running there were no other noises to keep me awake. The beds were super soft with squishy mattress cushions and fluffy pillows. I have never slept this well in a hotel before. Finally, the airport shuttle (actually the manager in his minivan) whisked me away to TUL at 5:30 in the morning. Shout-​out to manager Kirti who called Mississauga home before Tulsa!
I’ll recommend this place to anyone who wants a clean, quiet hotel a stone’s throw from the airport.

Driving across the country leads to two things: a new found appreciation for gas station toilets that at least appear clean, and a new rule to pay no more than $ 50 for nightly lodging.
Driving through Tulsa was no exception. This location was a steal at $ 42 but that comes at a price. It was clean and they assured me from behind glass that it was very safe because their camera had a tape in it so I guess we could later view the prowess of vandals. We had no issues though I don’t think we’ll be staying here again.
