Wonderful experience! 3^rd adult shop I’ve been to and they always made me uncomfortable. However, this trip was different. The worker who helped me, Kirsten, was incredibly nice. I let her know I was a bit uncomfortable since I’m not used to it and she totally understood and helped me out with any questions or concerns I had. Definitely going back when I have a chance.

I want to just say how comfortable one of the cashiers made my husband and I feel when we came in. I usually am nervous coming into this store, but cashier 1 671 greeted us with a smile and knowledge of new products. Explaining positive experiences and treating us like friends not just another sale. Thank you for this positive and not so nerve wracking experience. :)

This review is for the two amazing girls that helped me this past weekend.
I’ve been looking for a really good quality corset for my Halloween costume and (future costumes) and I knew lovers would have it. I had tried on those cheap ones at the Halloween store but hated the material and look of it. I was in the area Saturday night so I decided to stop by and check it out. The girl that helped me sat was really patience with me and helped me pick out about ⁴⁄₅ to try on. I really had no idea what I was doing and I was probably really flustered with sizing and every thing because I paid for a bunch of things then left. Went home to try on the corset with the whole costume and ended up hating how the corset had a caged halter look to it so I came back Sunday to exchange it. The girl helping me Sunday was also really nice also! I picked out some strapless corset to try on and she help laced me up. I like both the red and black one I tried on so I just got them both to exchange for the other one I got the day before. I was really pleased with my purchases and I wished I had gotten the names of the two ladies helping me because they were awesome!

This location is the biggest in the state, occupying a two story building a few blocks away from south center. If you like something you saw online, this location is the best bet since they carry just about everything imaginable.
Very friendly customer service. They get that some people are uncomfortable in there. Very accommodating and helpful.
I would have given it a 5 star rating, but the location is a bit confusing to find, jumbled in the different highways around south center.

My experience at this Lovers location was great! The staff was professional and not pushy with sales the way that some stores can be.
One of my favorite things about this store is how the lingerie is on the first level of the store and then toys, porn, etc. are on other levels. I really liked that everything was separated.
They have a great selection of so many different items. My partner and I were looking for one item in particular and the associate was very helpful and understood our needs when it comes to toys. I felt very comfortable and it wasn’t awkward like my experiences in other sex stores have been in the past. If you normally feel uncomfortable in sex stores, this store will definitely make you feel at ease.
We will definitely be back!

Whether I’m just looking or on a mission the staff is very respectful and informative. Great products and decent pricing. I love that they host ladies nights and seminars. I feel they truly care about my needs then how much money I’ll spend. I’ll be back very soon

I went to lovers today to simply get one thing. A cute top for Halloween. I was immediately greeted with a smile and a Hello from Denise. Let me just say she is awesome. Anything I showed interest in she helped me and even started a dressing room for me so I could try on other costumes. I left with a awesome costume and accessories for under the price I was expecting to pay. Denise also hooked me up with coupons and a few other deals. She was totally awesome. I absolutely will be back.

I really love this place. It’s really nice to feel welcome and not like your being watched by creepy guys. The all female staff made me at ease. All of the staff was well versed in each product and made recommendations based on personal experience. The product lines both in gadgets and fashion are very impressive.

Soon My Sister would be heading out of town to visit her Bestie on the East Coast. Now I’m sure at first the visit would be bitter sweet because my Sister just found out the day she flies in, her beastie’s husband was flying out for deployment.
They are very much still newlyweds & haven’t been away from one another like that since they tied the night.
My Sister thought it would be a good idea to buy/​surprise her with a brand new, not so intimidating, starter vibrator so that she could have some fun (hopefully) while her husband was away.
She had drug me along for the ride, but I think Lovers is interesting so i didn’t mind at all. We were greeted by one of the gals that worked there. My Sister & I did our best at trying to pick out a vibrator that didn’t look toooooooo scurry. We spent some time in the store, giggling, browsing, etc. I even took it as far as trying this sample for your va-​jayjay on the inside of my lips. Its suppose to be like a shockingly crazy vibrations on your lips. At first i felt nothing & was like yea OK… oh boy why did I say that because this lube had kicked into full gear. It was so crazy feeling. I thought I had put a mini bullet in the inside of my lip. It was sooo distracting that I couldn’t even hold a conversation with my Sister. Talk about that shit cray! I’m not sure what happened but after the magical lube being on the inside of my lips for a few minutes, things started to feel weird. My whole body went into a hot flash & I didn’t like it. I had to head out the door for some fresh air. Once i was outside for a little while… i started to also feel nausea. Ugh, things were NOT going well for me at all. I didn’t like it one bit. So i stayed outside & just tried to take deep breaths as my poor tummy was getting upset by the second. Whew finally felt better enough to return back inside the store.
At this point my Sister was at the register with the Sales Associate. It was very sweet of her to ask me if everything was OK. She also shared with me that she felt bad that my body reacted to the sample like that. I told her that I appreciate her concern & I think everything will be OK. I told her we just have weak stomachs & the fact that mine was empty, probable wasn’t siting well with the lube that I had just sampled.
My Sister was finally ready to check out & asked the associate if she had selected a good vibrator for a first timer. The associate was awesome at keeping it real with telling my Sister that she hadn’t selected the best brand that she could. She also told her that the one she selected tends to break down and or erode batteries. She inquired if it was OK to show my Sister a way better quality vibrator for the same price range that she was already in. I thought that was awesome for her to do that. She was also wonderful at explaining the care of the vibrator, what to do/​what no to do. etc. I was really digging her customer service.
At check out she assisted my Sister with signing up for the updated version of their coupon cards or club that you can register for. She made sure my Sister got all her points for the transaction. She informed her about the first Tuesdays of the month & how your points are tripled, I believe. She also provided us a coupon for some lubes, a newsletter about a Valentines day event they are having after hours, sample lubes, & other coupons.
The visit was great! I just had to inquire what her name was. which it was Jess, so thank you Lovers for employees such as her!

What can I say, they’ve got what I need. Checking in on Unilocal gets you some good deals too!
Staff are friendly and discreet, and they know their products. They are quick to help and make suggestions but will leave you alone if you would rather shop on your own, which is good since a lot of people do get embarrassed just by the nature of the products. I personally am okay with discussing the merits of certain products over others, but I also enjoy browsing even though I will probably never buy a lot of the items on offer. Note that I generally spend more of my time… downstairs, so I can’t speak for the price or quality of lingerie etc.
Also, they now have a rewards program… I’m not the type that needs to go to a store like this too often; but building some sort of loyalty is pretty nice and doesn’t really cost them anything.

Came to get goodies for a bachelorette party. Great selection, great pricing (including a 40% off 1 regular priced item courtesy of my Unilocal checkin!) and the ladies that work there are great — very friendly and helpful. I visited a couple other places that were closer to my home prior to going to southcenter, the trip was totally worth it.

I’m not sure why this place gets such positive reviews… having lived in several other States, including FL, there are FAR superior places to shop. Having said that, maybe this is the best it gets in the Seattle area. Which is a shame.
My biggest complaint is the amount of employees working and how they attack you with fake conversation when you walk in. When I am shopping for porn or a new toy, the LAST thing I want is an employee pretending to be interested in what I’m looking for. All they want is to build a sale, and to be honest, I don’t want someone delving into my private life and suggesting which POV DVD I will enjoy the most, I can read the box and check out the products myself.
My second complaint is the lack of signage indicating that its okay to go into the hallway towards the stairs or elevator. I feel that it should be easily marked so that you aren’t forced to speak to an associate.
The positive: If you check in you get a 40% off coupon. They also send them in the mail.
Oh, and when the vulture associates ask you if you have been here before (which ALL of them find you and ask) — Just say yes.

So Jabba captured this really hot princess from Alderaan and worked a deal with me to hook us up. I even got him to give me some free pointers to woo her. Haha, the sucker.
I had to start questioning the usefulness of his intel, however. He told me that she was kind of a freak, and the fastest way to get her going is to ask her «Who’s your daddy?». Hey, I love women with daddy issues. Problem is, every time I would do it, she’d bark out «Ugh! YOU are!» and then storm out of the room. I couldn’t get it. I guess she’s into playing hard to get. I’m all for creative foreplay, but damn, a Sith’s gotta party every so often, you know? And for some reason, that fat slob and his cronies would burst into laughter every time I do it. I’m guessing they just find it funny that I’d pursue a younger woman. I mean sure, she’s about the same age as my son, but age is just a number, right?
So then I thought I’d impress her with my ride, but my idiot son got hopped up on Celonian Death Sticks and blew a hole in it, and my boss is a real prick that won’t give me another company starship until he feels my personal life stops interfering with my overlording responsibilities. He doesn’t get that single parenting is hard work, even when you abandon the kid before birth. Besides, I work to live, not live to work, ya know? How many people can one person Force Choke a day before it all starts to become kind of routine?
Then I figured I would go on ‘What Not to Wear’. I mean, my wardrobe *is* kind of one-​dimensional. But they had some stupid rule about only being able to go on the show if you actually had hair for that one guy to style. Prejudiced bastards.
Desperate for inspiration, I went to Lovers here, and did I ever find it. Wall to wall toys, games, oils, lotions, «personal massagers» for the ladies, etc. Floors of the stuff. DVD’s as far as the eye can see. The staff was fantastic at providing recommendations, and seemed to know the products quite well. So I grabbed some lubricating oil, a special kind of pillow, a copy of the ‘Star Wars XXX Parody’ DVD and something called a Mister Fister and made another go at that fine piece of ass princess with the buns in her hair.
At first it was the same old story, though my Force senses told me her resistance and desire to play hard to get was waning. Then I popped in the DVD and, upon getting to a scene with someone portraying me, her eyes got all big, she looked at me all astounded and said «is that true?» I played a mind-​trick on her to convince her that it was (I mean Christ, I’m a Sith, not Lexington Steele), and just like that, she was mine. She kept moaning something like «Oh God, this is so wrong, but who cares?» I have no idea what she was talking about — I mean hell, the Mister Fister was still unopened in the bag! That pillow thing really came in handy a couple of times.
So, thanks Lovers, you were the last piece of the puzzle. Now I just have to figure out why she’s so insistent we don’t tell anybody about us because they wouldn’t understand. She’s always so cryptic. She didn’t originally strike me as such a private person who values discretion, but whatever. It’s all good.
Knocking one point off because they don’t carry one certain lubricant I prefer and some women have said their selection of clothing is missing «something» (other than holes in the clothing, that is), but otherwise, fantastic place.

5 stars for the staff downstairs– don’t know her name but she’s as perfect as can be when you have a question or twenty about a product.
4 stars for the selection downstairs — they have what you need, and a million things you don’t.
4 stars for price downstairs, mostly fantastic, sometimes too spendy for me.
Upstairs, that’s a different matter.
2 stars for the selection, I mean, yes, there are a million things there to slink into/​out of, but the quality isn’t great or when it is, the price is pretty high. They have every single leg avenue fantasy costume you could ever want but again, at full retail price when they’re oft available online and/​or at other shops for much less.
2 stars for the pushy sales people I’ve encountered a few times, this last visit was fine, but in the past, having someone following me around suggesting things was way too much for me.
