Excellent customer service. My son’s glasses needed a new screw and nose cushion. Lenscrafters staff replaced both items, cleaned and straightened his glasses (they were slightly bent out of shape), all in 5 minutes at no charge. I would highly recommend them to everyone and will definitely return.

My first time shopping at LensCrafters and I was very happy! I was brought into my exam promptly. The technician and the doctor were both very nice (and SUPER funny!), and the associate who helped me pick out my frames was helpful and patient with how picky I was. I will go back for sure!

(This 5 stars rating is only based on the exam office) The receptionist and Dr. Wendy Huang are so wonderful. I had a 1:30pm appointment but ended up here earlier. I checked with the receptionist if there were openings, she set the expectations that the schedule is full but she can do her half of the exam first to speed up the process. I really appreciated her providing that option. After the first half was done, she told me she would call me if the doctor could see me sooner. I was able to be done with my appointment before 1:30pm.
Dr. Huang is fantastic! She’s so nice and thorough with the exam. She took the time to listen and made recommendations. I felt like I got all my questions answered and left without being confused.

Getting glasses here is a great idea. A good selection of glasses for all ages. But eye exams take a long time. Staff members seem disinterested when I came in with a prebooked appointment. Not the environment you want from eye care «professionals.» A staff who was not working at the time was distracting employees from helping me, mind you 15 minutes after my prebooked exam.

Shady is all I can say about this place. My vision insurance is garbage. I called various locations before settling on Lens Crafters and the only reason I went with it is due to their selection of frames. Walls and Walls of frames. My issue is more with the exam process than the optical sales (They’re technically two separate entities in one office).
I waited maybe 15 minutes to get my exam done. Went through this test and that test with a… I’m not sure what to call her… vision assistant/​nurse that was clearly new. No issues being the test subject for her training. My sole issue and the reason I will never go back to this place is the Dr. He asked me some run of the mill questions. Kinda half assed his way through the exam.
He asked about contacts and I stated that I wore contacts but it had been about ⁷⁄₈ years since and that I no longer wore them because they were too much of a hassle.
He eventually convinced me to retry them. I should have just saved my money and stuck solely with my glasses.
At no point did he discuss cost with me. When I paid the bill for my exam and the lenses, it ended up being about $ 260. I didn’t think about it till I got home but that seemed pretty high for some contacts and an exam.
I contacted my Vision insurance provider and they broke down the cost. I was charged $ 80 for a contact lens fitting? Wtf for. My l contact lens fitting exam consisted of me sitting in a room by myself for half the time trying to remember how to put the lenses in. The other half was the «examiner» giving me a couple tips to put my last lens in. But the fact that the ass hat Dr. nor anyone in the office did not disclose that the exam cost $ 80 really pissed me off.
I ended up getting frames. Nothing major to report other than the sales folk being sales folk. I’m stuck in between them pushing for upsells and them genuinely trying to offer advice. None of which I took. I know my style.

They installed the lenses in my frames pretty quickly
Cons
Shady business practices. Not all costs are disclosed up front. Enough of a con to never want to return.

Great selection of frames, over bearing sales associate hovering near me after I told her I just wanted to generally look at frames, same day service may or may not be possible, ridiculously expensive lens costs that just go higher and higher the more they try and sell you some upgrade.

So I needed glasses.
I came here for an eye appointment due to ongoing to my vision getting worse. Turns out, I ended up needing glasses after my eye exam. The customer service was great from my experience. I ended up with a slick pair of Oakley’s, & left definitely seeing better, literally.

I had my first appointment here about 3 weeks ago and had a great experience.
The eye associates (I don’t know what they’re officially titled.) were great and helpful as they checked my insurance. I had an eye exam along with a contact lens fitting and both went smoothly and efficiently. There was some technology that took the picture of my eye without having to dilate my eyes so that was great too and the doctor printed out a copy so I could see. Dr. Hwanh was friendly and great to work with. And for some reason, contact lenses (use dailies) are cheaper here than they were at my previous place so you know I’ll keep coming back here for them.
The only thing that took a little longer was actually receiving my whole shipment of contacts. They were back ordered so for a years supply so it took a little over 2 weeks to get, but that didn’t bother me too much since they did give me some contacts in the mean time and I do wear glasses more regularly.

Don’t do it. They were awful. They put in the wrong lens and the frames were bent.
They didn’t care. They didn’t change anything and there was no refund.
Stay away.
They seemed expensive for such bad service.

I’m very selective with my star ratings where 5 is above & beyond expected service/​quality & 1 is well, find yourself another option because this is one beyond opprobrious! After reading the other reviews I thought an update would be appreciated.
Let’s start with the fact we are dealing with a mass production shopping mall service, so my expectations are set low to begin with, that way I won’t be disappointed with the service I am/​not receiving. Overall the service was acceptable, while not worthy of a 4, since there are no .5 stars, I gave them a 3.
My husband broke his only pair of glasses at work & is near blind without them, he didn’t have a week to wait for a new pair & his Rx was expired. We are new to the area & hadn’t found a new eye dr & my husband was overdue for an exam. The office staff was sympathetic to his despair & very helpful –they even squeezed me in for my overdue exam as well! 4 stars (****)!!
Prior to the exam we poked around the store & the first sales assoc. greeted us & listened to my husbands plight, she explained that it would be unlikely that they would be able to fill the Rx «while we waited,» due to the type of lenses my husband needed, however she’d see if my husbands glasses could be repaired to get him by (****) in the meantime. What LensCrafters (LC) doesn’t tell you, except in superfine print that you can read AFTER you wait 5 – 10 days to get your glasses, like traditional optometrists’ offices, is that not all LC have the same equipment so not all Rx’s can be filled the same day (-**)! BUYER BEWARE!!!
Following his exam we went back out to the store to make a purchase, however we had to put on our «bewildered customer face» before catching the attention of another associate before being helped (**), but once we did get an assoc it was satisfactory service.
Personally, I prefer going to a conventional eye doctor, however I’ve had to use LensCrafters before this & will likely use them again (this store as well as the one at the Vancouver [WA] mall) as necessary. They’re kind of my ER of eye glasses!

This place has a really great selection of glasses. I liked the fact that the employees didn’t bother me while I was browsing through the frames. I was greeted when I walked in, but left alone to find the glasses I wanted. When I was ready, I walked up to the counter with the frames and was immediately seated at one of the little stations. I did have to do a bit of waiting here and there, but overall thought the customer service was great. Very friendly, and very willing to answer your questions. They were a bit short staffed (which explains the wait) but did their best to accommodate. Anyways, today was my first time going in and I will be picking up my glasses later today! Would definitely recommended. Just make sure you go when you have enough time. I was in there for about an hour (keep in mind it took me a while to choose some frames!)

My husband tried to go here to get some new glasses and was ignored for a good solid half an hour before he got upset enough to go say something. I guess it’s no surprise considering the location of this store, but the attitudes of the salespeople were absolutely crap. Don’t bother with this place, you’ll leave fuming.

Absolutely horrible and unprofessional service from Dr. Hwahn and Curtis. I felt like some cow on the feed lot as I was rushed through the Dr’s examination, he pretty made up his mind on what was clear and what wasn’t…Doc how about you let me tell you when I see clearly? My brief encounter with the Dr. was short as Curtis happened to barge in on us, how about a knock or better yet wait until I leave the examination room before you try and sell me some frames/​lenses?
I had my frames picked out well in advance and it seemed that Curtis was the only person available to assist. He points me to the direction where we should sit and says sit here in a stern voice. My wife already had the frames in hand, she noticed his behavior right away and wanted no part of this experience so she left to look at a few things in the mall. Curtis pulls out a blank sheet of paper and says that he likes to calculate the total this way, he took out a calculator and punched in a few numbers. Out comes a total of $ 500+ dollars, he punches in a few more numbers and comes up with a total of a little over $ 400 after the store discount. Sounds fair since insurance will cover some of this after I submit it to my insurance, no big deal. I pay and sign the non itemized receipt while he shoves some paperwork in an envelope, he states that I should come back in 45 mins later to pick up my new glasses, no thank you, no thanks for shopping with us. Some 45mins later as I’m waiting at the counter for my glasses I overhear another sales rep explaining a extended year warranty and it being 34.99, I dig out my receipt from the envelope and noticed that this was added to my total, you would think he would have offered this but I’m sure he just assumed I wanted the warranty. I speak to the mgr and she takes it off. I ended calling the store a day later after thinking about the experience a couple times. The mgr seemed apologetic and mentioned that Curtis had a rough day… she ended up taking 25% off the bill for my experience. but I’d rather pay full price for better service. I’m not sure how other LensCrafters are run but do stay away from this one.

I thought I was going to be very happy with the eyeglasses and sunglasses, the service was alright and the glasses looked good.
The insurance did not work out the way they said it would cover and we ended up with a nice sized bill. The price lenscrafter charges is way out of line from other eyeglass stores. My frames recently broke and of course they are not able to do anything to fix them.

We’ve been going to this location for 6 or 7 years & always ask for Curtis to help us with frames. If you have to wait, take a look at the number of people in the shop, plus weekends are packed, especially mid-​day. In & out in an hour? This is not a burger joint. The huge selection & the care provided to find the right frames & the fitting takes time. So? Go somewhere else in the mall. We wouldn’t consider going anywhere else because of the customer care we’ve experienced here.

I have no idea how to even rate them! We were never greeted, spoken to, told anyone would be right with us, helped or ANYTHING. FINALLY after 10 minutes we went into the dr’s office which is where we were told that there was a sign up sheet and that someone they would get to us as quickly as they could. NOPE! After another 15 minutes of being ignored we left. Straight to SEARS OPTICAL where we immediately saw a doctor and ordered up $ 500 worth of new glasses for the family and were on our way. If I EVER hear a peep about the economy’s affect on this company I will immediate respond… it has NOTHING to do with the economy.

Great selection of eyeglasses. Accepts most insurance. Nice selection of designer glasses such as Chanel, Prada, D & G, Burberry etc.
I stopped in for my annual eye checkup. I was really impressed during the appointment the sales lady came in to meet me. She introduced herself and told me to come look for her when I’m ready to start looking for new glasses. My eyes then got dilated. I had to wait 15 – 20 minutes for my eyes to fully dilate. So, I decided to go out to the sales floor. The lady that introduced herself earlier was ready to assist me. My eyes started dilating and I couldn’t see a thing! So… I would recommend looking at glasses prior to your eye exam.

This place has horrible service. I wanted to ask ONE question about a pair of sunglasses. My question was, «How much does a pair of sunglasses cost» because the frames didn’t have a price tag sticker on it. One of the sales people ignored me and told me that I had to write my name on the waiting list before they could help me. WTF. And so I did for that one question because I was shopping for a present. And I had to wait for 30 + minutes, I kid you not. Because they had to help everyone else who came in to pick up their glasses. Seriously, LENSCRAFTERS customer service is horrible!
I’m completely disappointed in this place and I would NEVER dare schedule an exam or have anything to do this store.

I’m giving this place a shitty review because this place gave me shitty service. I am talking about the retail part of Lenscrafter and not the eye clinic which was awesome. I give them 4 stars!
Anyways, today I went in for an eye exam and had a great experience when Dr. Hwahn and his staff were friendly and efficient. After my exam they showed me into the retail part with all the frames. The receptionist even asked one of the sales rep to help me who wasn’t busy.
She however sure did not follow me or address me in any way. I walked over to the selection of glasses and noticed two employees chatting away and trying on frames for themselves. Another associate noticed me and half greeted me. I had to ask if he was addressing me. I asked him if he had the brand I liked and said no and then walked away. I still needed help HELLO!!! I had to look for someone to open the case for me so that I could try on some frames.
There was no recommendation from his part on what would fit my face best. He didn’t even seem interested in helping me. Then another associates comes over and pulls out a set a frames and tries it on herself. They start having a conversation amongst themselves while I am standing there clueless and in need of help.
I walked around some more browsing hoping that some other associates would decide to assist me but No hello, No can I help you find something, No are you looking for anything in particular. At one point I even had a pair in my hand that I was very interested in purchasing but nope no help so hey I am definitely not going to buy!
I was so angry and disappointed because I was looking forward to a new set of frames. I will not shop from this location!
The clinic on the other hand was very helpful and awesome. After my exam they took me in to fit me with a new pair of contacts and gave me some trials to try to see which I would like better. They even gave me a break down of prices because I was considering dailies over bi-​weekly contact. That was super helpful. 4 stars for them. If I could give 0 stars for Lenscrafter I would have.

It’s too bad you can’t give negative stars. I really don’t like to give bad reviews but this place definitely deserves it!
Customer service — sure. up until they have the sale. Otherwise, this is the biggest negative ZERO! Called to follow up on the glasses (3 weeks later) and the guy over the phone was more rude than ever. No friendliness whatsoever. Even spoke to the manager (Amanda) and got no response. My beau works in upper management sales and this would definitely not be accepted from the company he works for.
Quality of frames — There is none. Those darn things broke the first day of receiving them.
Fitting of frames — CRAP! They left marks on eyes and ears… How do you let a customer leave the store without properly fitting them if you simply don’t care? If the staff is improperly trained then hire someone who is or train them!
Even if you want to go cheap… go somewhere else. It really doesn’t turn out to be that much of a savings. The glasses were over $ 400 considering all of the expenses, not to mention the time and trouble you have to go through.
